Everything-Michael Buble Cover at Abronhill, Cumbernauld

"Dreamer" is a song of mine from Set 3 of 19 sets, and I swapped guitars from a synthesized Fender Strat to the clean sound of my acoustic 12-string Ovation, using two external mics - one for the guitar and one for my voice.  I was never happy with the effects I had available for the Fender Strat, and preferred the acoustic sound of the 12-string Ovation anyway - and recorded all the rest of my songs using it.  By Set 3 I had more experience in this recording process and my voice is noticeably more relaxed, and I began to actually enjoy this process of singing, playing and recording my own songs! I recorded my original song "Highway To Nowhere" in two takes as demos on Set 15 in 1997. Take one is a bit rough with the high notes, but take two turned out better. While the song has many autobiographical elements within it, it's not autobiographical in nature, "I hit the highway to nowhere, Cruisin' down a road, With no end..." Enjoy! ♡ :) Mark
