Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2013, Lis van Lynden has refused to let the condition define her limits. With no prior cycling experience or training, Lis set off in 2022 on a solo, unsupported ride around the entire coastline of Great Britain—covering 5,000 miles over seven months and raising over £13,000 for MS charities.&nbsp; Her journey didn’t stop there. I set up Tough Girl Challenges as a way of motivating and inspiring women and girls.
 
I interview inspirational female explorers, adventurers, athletes and everyday women who have overcome great challenges.
 
I completed the Marathon des Sables in April 2016. In 2017 I thru hiked the Appalachian Trail (2,190 miles) in 100 days. In 2018 I cycled from Vancouver in Canada to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico over 4,000 km!
