There's no poser-like crap imitating a gramophone or shellac records with pop songs in the background (you know those shitty mixes). Instead,  recordings and songs over 100 years old that still exist today – genuine folk swinging blues tracks (which many today consider slapstick or bizarre). They were meant quite seriously, dealing with catastrophes, grief, love, the simplicity of being!

You guessed it, each of these tracks meets a track from today. They practically race towards each other like comets until GOD himself creates something homogenous by adding something like bass and piano to the already meticulously timed mix on the master keyboard to take it up a notch and hold up a mirror to the homogenous mass.

Folgendes ist wieder ne wahre Geschichte (Kennsse, kennsse) als Kind konnte ich zu Hause durchaus auf ne Platten Sammlung zugreifen, die von solide, über konservativ bis megageil alles beinhaltete (Also von Miriam Makeba, über Richard Clayderman bis Donna Summer). Was fremdelte bzw. aus dem Rahmen fiel war meine eigene Platten-Sammlung (es waren massig) das wurde mir erst bewusst als ich bei Klassenkameraden schlief und sie mir meistens "OTTO" (Komiker) als Platte zeigten und ich konnte NIX mit Otto anfangen (Muss grad dennoch lachen) weil als die bei mir waren konnten die mit meinen JUWELEN auch nichts anfangen, fast schon als würde ne Stimmung kippen, weil verstört! Jedenfalls gibts in Kürze ein Best of meiner Juwelen aus Kinder-Tagen. Das hörte erst auf als man in Köln endlich auch amtliche Platten kaufen konnte (1984 mit Vitamin B). Aus heutiger Sicht rühren mich sogar wirklich viele davon, als dass sie nur gaga sind. Im Preview hab ich als Erstes einen Song platziert, der so funny er auch sein mag, ne klare Aussage hat: FAMILIE IST WICHTIG! Und kann magisch wirken... später regt man sich z.b. noch auf "Das war was... Da musste ich dem blöden Opa auf einmal 2 Wochen helfen obwo..." und man hat es noch immer nicht geschnallt was gewesen wäre, wenn dies nicht stattgefunden hätte und das sagt ihm Opa später ebenfalls nicht, weil er A) weis, was sich gehört und B) ... JA, weil Opa zaubern kann :)
