This album relies heavily on the sounds of classic synthesizers/drum machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, JX-8P, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to my studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, MC-707, MicroFreak, Prophet Rev2, Oberheim OB6, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

A majority of the songs on this album were recorded in only one take in my home studio and recorded to high-quality video as well. The same recordings heard on this album can be seen performed live on YouTube. www.youtube.com/@JohanSebastianBot/videos

DVS NME - Profit Pursuit

Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre (@djtygre), he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys.

Infra-City Transit introduces a sharper contrast, hitting the gas right out of the gate. The track kicks off with an accented snare, brought into full swing by a weighty bassline. Though it initially seems to steer toward a static, dark-edged arrangement, a few bars in, the composer once again reveals his melodic finesse — never at the expense of the overall groove, but always in service of it.

Ement returns to PZ Records with a new seven-track EP that explores a dynamic blend of electro, acid, and techno influences. The release features a standout remix by underground electro pioneer Umwelt, who reimagines the title track Choice Paralysis with his signature intensity and depth.

Balancing dark atmospheres with raw energy, the EP builds on Ement’s previous work while continuing to evolve his sound. Rooted primarily in electro, it remains versatile throughout—blending experimental textures, acid grooves, and driving techno rhythms that reflect a broad sonic palette.

A personal yet club-ready release, Choice Paralysis will be available in both digital and limited 12" vinyl formats
