I have been wanting to make a remix to this song for a long time, but never got the time to sit down and get it done. I was really sick one night and heard it on tiktok so I thought to myself might as well get out of bed. Everything just started flowing and before I knew it I was 5 hours in basically done with the writing of the track. I was sweating the whole time but it was worth it in my opinion.

I took this track a totally different route than what I usually do and this is what I got. Everyone I showed this too said it reminded them of old school flume and gave them a day time happier vibe. This was reliving to hear because that's kind of what I was going for overall. With the vocals being dark and sad I was aiming to make the instrumental more of a happy tone and I think I achieved it for the most part.

Bartek @Moon Kitty presents Moontribe Sunday Vibe Streaming Edition

The writing of this song was a journey through the swell of beautiful and melancholic emotions tied to a love lost. What began as a few simple chords played out on a Fender Rhodes quickly called on the support of synth textures and found sound percussion to set the pace for vocalist Onyay to weave her heartfelt story. The song touches into the tender places of the heart, offering release of that which is no longer ours.

For this week on MuthaFM’s TRACTION show I’ll be sharing with you some recordings of the sets played by artists performing at Blossom Wildflower Festival 2020  this past weekend, as well as our SMOKESCREEN sessions segment being hosted by Ben Casella for the first time and a very special guest mix and chat in the studio with local Drum & Bass DJ, JellyMcNelly  💐

The first of our Blossom features artists is SpOracle dishing up her set of downtempo beats from the Wildflower mainstage from Sunday morning. Then we have Nuphoria laying down a blissful mix of sultry tribal goodness from his set on Sunday night on the Wildflower mainstage. Finally, we have a clip of the SMOKESCREEN set from Sunday afternoon at the TreeTops stage, with half an hour of Liquid Drum & Bass (sadly not the recording with Gamma MC live from the festival due to recording complications)
