Solarplex is 21yr old Ryan Findlay and 22yr old Sam Cross, hailing from the highly cultural region of far northern NSW. After sculpting their style for several years, they have developed a unique sound, incorporating solid bottom end rhythms with lush, multi-layered soundscapes. Setting themselves amongst other examples of well thought out, emotionally expansive electronic music producers, SolarPlex will lead you into a deep abyss of thought & feeling,while simultaneously bathing you in vibrant energy. 

Both writing music for 5+ years now, the boys originally started their career off with another project called SYS, focusing on full on melodic style 'morning psytrance'. After recieving acclaim both locally and nationally they decided to start a side project under the name SolarPlex, focusing more on the ambient textures and soundscapes of the progressive style of trance which has been hitting Australias shores with a vengeance. Since starting their side project in early 2009 it has become full center of their writing ambitions, releasing their first track on Regen Records compilation "Regeneration" along with artists such as Terrafractal, Psyboriginal and Hedonix - as well as playing both locally and nationally to diverse crowds, receiving acclaim where they go (including parties like Cairns Winter Solstice, Mardi Grass, EarthDance and Southern Oracle, just to name a few). Recently signing up with young east coast label 3l3mental records, run by Brodie Gibbon a.k.a Multiverse/G-Funk and Cairns based Twizted Lotus Records, look out for future releases from the boys on these fresh, up and coming labels.

As a kid, Dimi.V grew up in a classical environment at home where it was strictly classical music and nothing else. From the early age of 5 he had started playing the piano and continued to study music for another 15 years. In his mid teen years at school, his drive to learn more in music had him join the band where he also learned to play the bassoon and the violin. The musical knowledge he acquired through the years was something that came into good use during his time as a DJ. But it was before this he was introduced to the underground house scene during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s when it was really kicking off where he had developed a passion for the music. 
“I remember listing to all this Euro trash at the time which wasn’t my style. I would buy music and it all would be hit and miss. I still remember it so well, how frustrated I was thinking how there must be something out there that will sit with me perfectly. It was then when I first heard Usura – Open Your Mind and I thought YES, this is it! This is what I love. Then around the same time House Pimps – Zulu Nation came out and that was it, I found my calling. Djing for me started so I can share my passion with others, which was my music. I wanted everyone to hear what I was in love with.” 

As Progressive House emerged through the early to mid 90’s, so did his style of music. Melodic progressive trance of the mid to late 90’s is his true love but has in recent years developed a love for Techno as well. 
“You really can’t label music like we once used to, music that I love today has many genre influences in it so really I can only say if I hear a track and I love it, that’s it. It could be a mix of techno, prog, trance, whatever. I like to think I have a good ear for tunes and it could be anything really. But find my roots are always lingering as it will always have a progressive influence somehow.”

Dimi.V has played in many clubs and bars over his career but has now retired from the scene but his passion for music still has him making mixed compilations of his favorite tunes. With a variety of styles on hand, there is one out there to suit your flavor.

Farebi Jalebi has spent over a decade producing and playing his own brand of psychedelic music at parties and festivals around the globe. Since 2010, Farebi has been on the roster of the legendary Parvati Records and ever since, he has been developing a flavour of his own. His music is characterised by thick and bouncy bass-lines, deep and melodic scapes and funky grooves. Each track tells its own peculiar tale with plenty of drama and emotions, and together they morph into sets that take listeners into unknown realms.

About Piet El:

Piet El is a DJ/producer based in Perth, Australia.  He plays a wide range of music, including house, progressive, techno, trance and electro.  Playing for only 4 years, Piet has achieved much, playing alongside half of the DJ Mag top 10 DJs and at Australia's biggest dance music festivals. 

Piet's career started when he was 19, when he began playing at rave parties in Perth. Piet received a major break in 2007 when he won the Future DJ Competition.  He so impressed the judges that he was asked to play the closing set at the Perth edition of the 2007 Godskitchen Australian tour, straight after one his favourite acts, Rank 1. 

2008 began for Piet with a support set for Infected Mushroom (DJ Mag #1 live act).  Piet also began making regular appearances at the Rise, a nightclub in Perth.  There he has supported acts such as Ronski Speed, Roger Shah, Thomas Bronzwaer, Mr Sam and tyDi (Australia's #1 DJ, ITM50 poll).  Piet also organised a series of student parties at Bar Open, another night club in Perth.

The summer of 2008/09 proved to be a busy one for Piet.  It began with a support set at Stereosonic, a large Australia wide festival featuring Paul van Dyk, Carl Cox, Infected Mushroom and Sneaky Sound System. Next Piet played at Summadayze, one of Australia's biggest festivals. Headlining acts included Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Eric Prydz and Underworld. In addition to a supporting set, Piet got to fill in for tyDi after he missed his plane. Later in the month Piet was chosen as a support act for the Perth leg of the Gatecrasher tour, featuring Adam Sheridan, Mike Koglin and tyDi. February saw Piet play at the Perth edition of the Future Music Festival, another large festival featuring Basement Jaxx, N*E*R*D and Markus Schulz. Finishing off the summer, Piet played on the main stage at the Perth edition of Trance Energy tour, the first time the event has ever left the Netherlands. 

In June Piet played a supporting set for Armin van Buuren. The show was held at Metros City, a large 2000 capacity club where the Gatecrasher and Godskitchen tours were also held. Piet got to play straight after the world's #1 DJ, the highlight of his DJ'ing career.  Coming up in 2010 Piet will be playing Summadayze again, alongside heavyweights Carl Cox and 2 Many DJs.

Piet is also an avid producer, expect to hear his productions around soon!
