About the cd:
For this episode we showcase Global Undergound arising from the underground into the huge success that it was moving into it's teens. For their 14th release we are taken on a progressive tour of Hong Kong with John Digweed, an awesome CD which was much loved by man. Massive shout out to James Wilson of Newcastle for sorting this, and also out to Michael McDonough from Sunderland for his efforts too. Of whom Digweed was a massive inspiration for and are both still to this day, huge fans.

I'm sure they aren't the only ones. So as always, turn it up... and enjoy the mix.

Here is the second installment to my Gatecrasher Experiences series. This series will be focusing on the tracks that were one of the clubbing  pioneers of the best era of dance music, known as  Gatecrasher. In this second episode in the series, I have focused more on a peak time style mix, including some of the best known tracks of Classic Trance, which also have been played at Gatecrasher events or been featured on the brand's compilations throughout the years. Thankyou for the great response and feedback for the first episode, it absolutely blew me away. I only hope I can achieve the same with this episode and future episodes. As the dust settled on Trafalgar square to mark the end of another year, London thought the party was over...little did this city know that Trance Sanctuary had other plans!!!! After a hugely successful May 2015 debut, I was delighted to make my return to the Egg on NYD 2016 for their daytime event to offer the very best of both worlds, 2 sets in 2 different rooms - classics (main room) and modern Trance (terrace)!!!

The most important thing for me as a DJ is to play for the crowd and this involves having the ability to read them. The response, in turn is transferred back to me through smiles of appreciation, hand gestures, arms in the air with occasional singing and dancing. Whilst playing, I fed off the audience's positive energy and was so pleased to see that both rooms were absolutely packed (it wasn't even midnight!!!). The atmosphere was reminiscent of those underground clubbing days including the distinct dripping of sweat from the ceilings - all indications of a good time!! :)

NYD 2016 was truly spectacular and words alone cannot do it justice. It was all about being caught in the moment and you really had to be there to experience the unique vibrancy, first-hand. Besides the fact that it was a SOLD OUT gig, the turnout was by all accounts, the best Trance Sanctuary hosted event yet!!! Hats off to the organisers as well as to all those who attended. What a tremendous milestone of an achievement for the very start of 2016!! 

Here are my recorded sets and what you are about to experience are two sensational mixes on one file. Whether you're an oldskool purist, anthem lover, upfront addict or simply just like proper Trance music without the categories, there's something to cater to everyone.

About the CD:
This out of all my mix CD's will likely bring back the most clubbing memories for the majority of my friends. It's hands down one of the greatest mix CD's of all time, a double pack of Sasha at his absolute peak, he was untouchable, worshipped like no other and unrivalled around the 1996-2000 era in the majority of opinions.  It defined a period of clubbing that had 50 Sunderland dance heads on a bus filling up half of the main room at Sasha's, Craig Richard's and Lee Burridge's 'Tyrant' night, at the Bomb in Nottingham. Which still holds strong as the best clubbing experience for most of us. It was legendary times, and this is a legendary mix CD.
