Following on from his beautiful ‘Solidify’ EP on Control Freak Recordings, Awo Ojiji brings his signature genre-fluid style to the 909 podcast series. Deeply atmospheric and focused around their love for leftfield techno and bass music, the mix includes a lot of favourites from the likes of Batu, Luka, Excel, Blawan, Nikki Nair and Delay Grounds to name a few. A punchy percussive session. 

Speaking about the mix, Awo Ojiji says, “I approached this mix similar to how i approach djing in a club. i collected a lot of tunes i feel right now into a playlist with very rough idea in my head and then i pressed record and started playing and see where it leads me. it's a bit uptempo and includes a lot of tunes i play a lot in clubs these days. i'm really happy how it turned out, it's rowdy and intense at moments and soothing at others. it moves through a few waves of up and downs. and thats what i do when djing in general. i hope you enjoy :)”

In the beginning, DOG created the heavens and da 3arth. 
Oceans, deserts, mountains, Melbourne .
Over the aeons, through vast and complex biological processes that we are too bereft of time to go into right now, life was spawned.  
A writhing orgy of sub-atomic nucleutoids.  
Swimming in primordial soup.  
Mixing, mingling, metastasising.  
From little things, big things grew! 
Tadpoles, eelz, land-scaling mega-fauna, apes, cave brutes…and finally man.
Lounging in the abundant garden, made in the image of DOG.  Man’s best friend.

Strange things start happening when an orphan puppy named FLUFFY is visited by the almighty DOG(cunt), a rogue line of computer code presenting as a hybrid canine_Jesus_thing. DOG speaks of a cult of psychic ghost lemurs, guardians of the CLOCKLESS NOWEVER, who reside on the island of Madagascar. They have opposing thumbs but do not fashion tools. They have no need for tools!! For 60 million years the island has lain moored in enchanted calm, untouched by the affliction of tim3 - no predators, just shit, piss, cum, repeat. These hedonistic monkey fr3akz like to MOVE IT MOVE IT and they might just hold the key to the animal kingdom’s battle against the NeoPetz, who have almost completed a full global implementation of the Comprehensive Algorithmic Terrain, AKA CAT.
