In the future Mercury has been colonised, deep underground, with surface domes only at the poles. Most people on Mercury work in one of two trades...anti-matter production, and trade (Mercury was the Roman God of trade, merchants, thieves and travellers). 

Anti-matter production requires vast amounts of energy, and a vacuum - Mercury is an ideal location! 

I imagine with their wealth from anti-matter production and trade that Mercury becomes the financial hub of our Solar System. With that in mind, I've since created a follow-up track, Mercury Time Trading Corporation:

The planet Mars is named after the Roman God of War, Mars. His chariot was pulled by two horses, Phobos and Deimos ( fear and dread), which are the names of the moons of planet Mars.

The "many small worlds" are, of course, the asteroids of the Asteroid Belt. 

" Mining The Sky: Untold Riches From the Asteroids, Comets & Planets" is a book by planetary scientist Prof. John S. Lewis.

In this track I tried to capture an industrial feel for the trillion or so humans - the belters - that could live in and mine those many small worlds. In the image shown, asteroids are moved to Earth orbit.

Just for some background Daphne Oram was a British Composer and Electronic musician who along with Ron Grainer and Delia Derbyshire revolutionised British music and setup the BBC Radiophonic workshop where she was the first Studio manager. This competition has been set to use some of the original stems from sounds and recording's used by Ms Oram using her invention's and I have decided to create some Dark ambient electronic music and enter this competition!!!&#13;

In the general sense, a cosmos is an orderly or harmonious system. It originates from the Greek term κόσμος (kosmos), meaning "order" or "ornament"[1] and is antithetical to the concept of chaos. Today, the word is generally used as a synonym of the word Universe (considered in its orderly aspect). The word cosmos originates from the same root. In many Slavic languages such as Russian and Bulgarian, the word Космос cosmos means also the "outer space". In Mandarin Chinese, cosmos is translated as 宇宙 yuzhou, which literally translated means space-time (宇 yu = space + 宙 zhou = time).

THE TIME TRAVELLER

A sub-orbital space flight is a spaceflight in which the spacecraft reaches space, but its trajectory intersects the atmosphere or surface of the gravitating body from which it was launched, so that it does not complete one orbital revolution.
For example, the path of an object launched from Earth that reaches 100 km (62 mi) above sea level, and then falls back to Earth, is considered a sub-orbital spaceflight. Some sub-orbital flights have been undertaken to test spacecraft and launch vehicles later intended for orbital spaceflight. Other vehicles are specifically designed only for sub-orbital flight; examples include manned vehicles such as the X-15 and SpaceShipOne, and unmanned ones such as ICBMs and sounding rockets.
Sub-orbital spaceflights are distinct from flights that attain orbit but use retro-rockets to deorbit after less than one full orbital period. Thus the flights of the Fractional Orbital Bombardment System would not be considered sub-orbital; instead these are simply considered flights to low Earth orbit.
Usually a rocket is used, but experimentally a sub-orbital spaceflight has also been achieved with a space gun.

A new planet—probably a rocky super-Earth—has been found squarely within its star's habitable zone, making it one of the best candidates yet to support life, its discoverers say.&#13;
&#13;
The planet, dubbed GJ 667Cc, orbits a red dwarf star 22 light-years from Earth, in the constellation Scorpio. A binary pair of orange dwarf stars are part of the same system.&#13;
&#13;
(Related: "'Tatooine' Planet With Two Suns Could Host Habitable Moon?")&#13;
&#13;
The new planet has a mass 4.5 times that of Earth and orbits its host star every 28 days.&#13;
&#13;
The red dwarf is relatively dim, so the planet receives slightly less light from its star than Earth does from the sun. But most of the star's light is infrared, so the planet should absorb more of its incoming energy than Earth does from sunlight.&#13;
&#13;
That means if the planet has a rocky surface—which is predicted for planets less than ten times Earth's mass—and an atmosphere, it could support liquid water and maybe life, said co-discoverer Guillem Anglada-Escudé, who conducted the work while at the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington, D.C.&#13;
&#13;
"If it has an atmosphere, it's probably reddish all the time, because the star is really red," Anglada-Escudé said. "It would be like being evening all the time."&#13;
&#13;
For any hypothetical observers on the surface, the binary stars in the distance would be "very prominent in the sky, and it would be an exotic thing."&#13;
&#13;
