HEARec is glad to present HEAR0047 - ‘Crisálida’, a an hypnotical journey proposed by @Persona_RS featuring two collaborations with @MijoMijo and @Reelative and a remix by @ohMussi.

Persona RS is the solo project of Chilean producer Roman Sebastian, prolific musician he is a memberof MKRNI, Roman & Castro and Follakzoid. His work has been released on labels such as Get Physical, Sacred Bones, Multi Culti & Roam Recordings. 

During his active career he has collaborated with renowned musicians - Jorge Gonzales, Nomi Ruiz andJaviera Mena - and has also been part of productions for Dave Gahan, Jim Jarmush and Fábula productions, among others.
Roman has performed in important stages around the globe, including Boiler Room, Elsewhere, DesertDaze, Dekmantel, Corona Capital, Bahidorá, Future Terror Tokyo and Lollapalooza CL multiple times.

‘Crisálida’ is composed by 4 original titles, two of them featuring Mijo and Reelative, and a high energy remix by Amanda Mussi.

Kalkutun is an energetic song, cadenced kick, grooving percussions and lurking acid-like melodies create the adequate atmosphere. The  hearer is then released in the break, trying to decipher the vocals and resting before it hits back.
With the drop and the rest of the song leave no doubt that Kalkutun is a banger to get you sweaty, very sweaty…. all the elements and the vocals now blend in a masterful way, leaving as a result a heavy slice of techno.

Super Paolo is back on his Disco Milk Records label with a cosmic, electro-infused single entitled ‘In Your Shadow’ including a remix from Italian producer Andy Bros. Super Paolo continues to embody his reputation of building tracks from scratch whilst harmonising everything together using a collection of live instruments. Paolo founded his Disco Milk imprint in 2006 and with every release he continues to explore into the realms of disco, electro, house and funk brought together under one roof previously supported by the likes of The Black Madonna, Justin Cudmore, Jacques Renault, Eclair Fifi and more. ‘In Your Shadow’ sees Paolo invite a remix from Italy’s Andy Bros which picked up plays from Adam Port, Solomun and Blackbox and Jamie Jones on Pete Tong’s History of House episode on BBC Radio 1 ‘In Your Shadow’ begins with zappy synth shoots, revolving electro flavours and infectious vocals keeping eccentric energy flowing until Andy Bros who has previous releases on Diynamic, Chapter 23, FFRR and more rounds off the pack with a chuggy, italo-disco remix of ‘In Your Shadow’ laying focus on cosmic oscillations, otherworldly atmospheres and uplifting, swirling melodies peppered with undulating euphoria. Versatile Records is a longstanding imprint which has been responsible for the release of some of the most innovative, expressive electronic music in recent years. However, it has never been a label to fall kindly into one particular niche or category. This is perhaps best showcased through the release of a new six track EP built upon playful experimentation, friendship and quick wit. 

Bright Future is a new group made up of label founder Gilb'r, Satoshi and Abel - three friends from Amsterdam who stumbled into producing music together, the result being their debut on the label. It's a wonderful mix of krautrock, electronica, acid, ddowntempo and beyond all squeezed together into one compact package which sounds rough, ready and yet a hell of a lot of fun. 

We asked the collective to take us through the story behind each track and they do so in good form, alongside a sneaky premiere of a track from the new release.
