German musician Tobias Freund is one of the most prominent figures on the electronic music scene. He is a member of Ostgut Ton family and a Berghain resident. 

Tobias.’s interest towards the sound of electronic origins was vastly due to his attachment to analog instruments. Essential part of his influences was musical atmosphere of 80’s in Frankfurt but he still moved to Berlin seeking more creative freedom. For over 20 years he has been taking sound engineer duties and that is significantly reflected in his music. There is no preliminary concept behind his work, it’s formed and developed from experiments. Technical perfection in his music is not at the expense of ignoring dramaturgical side, a proof to what is his every peace of work. Freund’s production as well as his every live-set has it’s own special and unique sound. 

Tobias. is behind of such collaborative projects as Odd Machine, NSI, Atom TM & Tobias, etc. He is also in charge of label Non Standard Productions, which was founded in 2006 and since then is a platform for peculiar and experimental music.

Our 6th podcast is a full recording of his live show while his 2nd gig at BASSIANI at Ostgut Ton Night on December 31st, 2015.

Today my Facebook page has just reached 5,000 followers, and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank EVERYONE for their continued love & support by giving away a special ALL VINYL DJ set from Summer 2009-320k mp3!!!

This mix is deep and made for sunshine-full of soaring chords, grainy stabs and plenty of space. 

Many of these tracks are classics, things that I have picked during my travels over the years or little nuggets I've dug up here in Detroit.
