Der Song „Der Blaue Planet“ ist ein eindringliches Plädoyer für die Zerbrechlichkeit unserer Erde. In poetischen, fast apokalyptischen Bildern fragt er nach der Zukunft des Planeten und nach dem Platz des Menschen darin. Zwischen Liebe und Vergänglichkeit spannt sich ein Spannungsfeld: Der Kuss und das gegebene Wort stehen sinnbildlich für Nähe und Hoffnung, zugleich schwebt die Angst, dass dies schon das Letzte sein könnte.
Die wiederkehrende Mahnung „Uns hilft kein Gott, unsere Welt zu erhalten“ betont, dass es allein in menschlicher Verantwortung liegt, den blauen Planeten zu bewahren. Mit seiner Mischung aus persönlicher Intimität und globalem Appell vereint der Song existenzielle Fragen mit einem eindrucksvollen Bild der bedrohten Erde – als Tanz zwischen Schönheit, Endlichkeit und Verantwortung.
