Business As Usual January 2020: Luke Solomon + Special Guest Carlo

Such a special night at Kiss Kiss Bang Bang discotheque for a birthday celebration par excellence with my Chicago brother in arms, Chris Holmes, and my new LA homies Benjamin and Alex. I wanted to put as many of my formative influences as possible into a nightclub stew and swirl it into a mirror ball delight for everybody on the dance floor. Every club I loved growing up in Chicago is in there: Medusa's, the Music Box, Shelter, Red Dog, Mendel H.S. jams, the Hotel Continental, too many to name but all that music wanted to come out and it did. I wanted to share some of that feeling with you. Cheers!

Closing Set at Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Pisces Power Party 3 4 2020

Let's take you back to 1998 to the legendary Living Room Club in South Beach, FL. At this point the Ovum party became the place to be at the Winter Music Conference and kicked the week off being on a Sunday Night. During this era, the conference was starting to rapidly grow, but the parties were still about hanging with your peers in the industry with a mixing of fans from around the world. During this time you could envision a mix from luminaries from all facets of the dance music world all coming together to dance and party with their friends. This is part three of a series of sets we look forward to bringing you over the next few weeks as we all come together during these difficult times. This is the final set from the main room of this legendary night at the Living Room. Doc Martin took over after a rare live set from Carl Craig as Paperclip People. Doc debuted Eddie Amador's House Music during this special closing set. We hope everyone has been enjoying these sets as much as we have sharing them with you. They clearly defined the sound of the era and still sound so fresh today.  We send our love to all of our fans and hope that you are safe. Much Love!
