Petr Serkin is a musician from Moscow, Russia, took a great interest in electronic music in 1996. Being a part of Moscow club nightlife for a long time, he cultivated his special sound, based on unstoppable deep groove and solid percussion. His first release under Petr Serkin name was on Space Breaks Records (UK) in 2011 and has a great success. Next releases were vinyls on Shanti Records and Space Breaks again. After that Petr run his own label Freedom Sessions Records and made two EPs, which were supported by Soulphiction, Session Victim, Dubbyman and other great producers. Petr played his deep sets in the most respected techno/house Moscow clubs – Arma, Propaganda, Solyanka, Shanti. This is his set recorded at RTS.FM on 24.11.2014

Valerio has been active in the DJ scene since the early 2000s, and his passion for House music has evolved over the years, but he's always been rooted in deeper house grooves and textures while also drawing from minimal and Detroit techno. Valerio has his own imprint Steamy Pizza Box, which is and outlet for his 90’s Italo-house and classic Chicago sounds. He’s also releasing recently on Bang It!, and Cinthie’s 803 Crystal Grooves Collective Cuts. Today marks his debut though on Soulfuric Deep, with the EP ‘It’s Gonna Be Hot’ featuring 3 deep groovers that need to be in any underground DJ’s crate. The full EP is out now at Traxsource!

Traxsource LIVE! #541 Art Of Tones

You might recognise Mike Norris as the guy who plays keyboards in La Roux's live band. But you might not recognise him as Fort Romeau, the one man production unit currently specialising in lush deep house that nods toward Detroit and Chicago. 

His forthcoming debut LP 'Kingdoms', out March 6, took Mixmag HQ totally by surprise. Released by the consistently on-point 100% Silk, it's Norris' very first release as Fort Romeau and contains 8 tracks of retro-referencing house that moves in a forward thinking direction. 

We asked the man himself to go into the mix and he's come back with a 45 minute work out that takes in Boddika, Kassem Mosse, Midland and Evan Tuell. It's a high rhythmic selection from a producer who has come up with one of the best records of the year so far. Check it!
