More about our guest:

Bristol UK’s McCabe made his name in house, developing a long-running relationship with legendary US garage label King Street Sounds and remixing the likes of Dennis Ferrer, Evelyn Champagne King, Carolyn Harding, Blaze, and Roland Clark. Since then he’s amassed an impressive discography, delivering inspired productions for labels like Local Talk, Strictly Rhythm, Vega Records, Tribe, and Quantize – plus an original solo album for Z Records.

A quick listen to any of his productions or one of his superb DJ sets will confirm this attractive, emotion-rich aesthetic. While rooted in house, his sound regularly takes on flavours of disco, boogie, Afro, deeper grooves, proto-house, ‘90s garage-house dubs and much more besides.

As an artist, his 2014 debut album entitled ‘It’s Time’ on Dave Lee’s Z Records displays his musical range and versatile quality production skills. 

As a DJ, he forged a reputation at the legendary Southport Weekender, where he performed regularly. Anyone who can impress the notoriously knowledgeable Southport Weekender crowd must be doing something right. Sean has also travelled the world, playing as far afield as Asia and South Africa, as well as regular appearances across Europe and the UK. Refreshingly, he seems to have no particular aspirations to play in gargantuan clubs, and admits to preferring gigs in small, intimate venues, where he can make a connection with the crowd.

As a producer, McCabe is constantly learning and evolving, taking his sound in different directions. He admits to a love of vintage synthesizers – picked up from listening to classic New York boogie and ‘80s soul. In 2016, Sean continued his musical journey by launching ‘Good Vibrations Music’ record label – a natural evolution of his renowned Good Vibrations events in Bristol.

Sean opens up August 2024 for VADR with something that emits really positive vibes and emotion evoking selections. A very unique offering from one of our greatest- modern underground musical influences to date. We are delighted and eternally grateful for this most generous contribution.

"I always like to play a mix of styles in a set to keep it interesting and represent the different styles that I like. I selected about 50 tracks that I felt like playing, to give me options, some recently released and some forthcoming. I made up the structure as I went along based on how I felt in the moment. It starts with a blend of soulful songs and funky/jazzy grooves, then delves into deeper driving tracks to build some anticipation, like a crescendo of some sort, then relieve the tension with music that has a resolving feel to it and end with some broken beat and jazzy ear candy. I think this is typical of how I try to programme my mixes. Like a very long chord progression or song structure; set mood, build tension, resolve, home, then repeat. MIx tapes playing recorded tracks from radio shows back in the day seem to be the trick for success for those who didn't follow underground/club music. Professionally Adam career went into the direction of Private events of all sorts DJ/MC ranging in size from 30 to 2500 guests, Corporate/Weddings/Nightclubs/Private/TIFF/ Cruises/ Vanity fair/Concerts/PRIDE/Motionball and other Gala's and official DJ/VJ for AM640,Energy108 & 103.5 1994-1998. In 1997 an opportunity came up to play the music that best suited djadamt taste .. Sharkcity in midtown Toronto, a high end bar/resturant club. For nearly 3 year residency playing a wide range of House,Trance and some Techno and was featured by notable.com for Thursday nights we miss "back in the day". Currently playing at 2 downtown intimate Bar/lounge type venues Eastthirtysix and Boutique Bar. influences include Paul Oakenfold, Carl cox, Todd Terry, Adam Bayer,John Digweed, Solomun, Max Graham, Amand van Helden. South of Germany

PC-PAT (a.k.a. Patrick Lecerf) is based in Southwestern Germany very close to the Swiss and French border. He started into music during the early 1980s as a guitar player in small local bands.

During the mid and late 1980s he became more and more interested by electronic music and was fascinated by the variety of possibilities offered by synths, samplers and multitrackers.

In the beginning of the 1990s with the emerging scene of electronic dance music coming from the USA and the UK he started DJ-ing and got his first bookings in 1993. Since then until the late 1990s he played at various clubs and events in countries such as France, Germany, England, Switzerland & Italy. Mainly focusing on techno and house and always sticking very close to the underground.

Coming back after a long break in 2010 Patrick rediscovered his funky side from the guitar times back in the 1980s. He prefers Deep, Funky, Jackin’ and Chicago House as these styles are very open for elements from Hip Hop, Jazz, Funky & Soul. 
He occasionally plays on events where he is free to play what he wants to.

As resident DJ for “myhouseyourhouse.net” he is hosting a regular live show for one of the most established underground internet-radio stations in the web.

Patrick is producing and remixing tracks for labels such as Nombeko Records, Jive House US, Underluxe Records, Midwest Hustle, Reason 2 Funk Records & Full House Digital.
