Gregor Tresher celebrates his annual Break New Soil Recordings Amsterdam Dance Event showcase by returning to Studio 80 with the biggest line-up to date. This year, the showcase is in association with AIAIAI and we are excited to announce various contests giveaways ranging from exclusive Break New Soil ADE merchandise & headphones!

Gregor created Break New Soil was in 2009 as a platform to release his own music under complete autonomy. This ideology soon attracted an influx of demos which naturally evolved into artist signings from the likes of Karotte, Extrawelt, Petar Dundov, Nic Fanciulli, Mauro Picotto, Dosem and much more. Label nights were soon introduced and currently touch down in clubs around the world from the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Austria and the USA. Despite the rapid growth of the label, one constant has remained and that is to release modern dance music from creative and forward-thinking artists.

AIAIAI is an audio design company dedicated to developing high quality audio products for live performance and everyday use. AIAIAI’s modern, minimalist headphones and earphones deliver clear, amplified sound. Headquartered in Copenhagen, AIAIAI is proud to contribute to Denmark’s worldwide reputation as leader in acoustic and electro-acoustic design and engineering.

The Break New Soil ADE 2013 Showcase will take place at Studio 80 on Thursday, October 17th. Joining Gregor will be exclusive live performances by Extrawelt, Petar Dundov and Maxime Dangles. Also on board this year are Patrick Siech and Per Hammar from Sweden & Amsterdam rising stars Some Chemistry and Bram Fidder. If all of this wasn't enough there's a very special MYSTERY GUEST that will close the night out with a bang. This event has extended opening hours so get ready for a full night of musical bliss!

At the grand old age of 22, Eskimo aka Junya is one of the most promising of the new generation of trance producers out there. Having released his debut artist album "Can You Pick Me Up" aged 17, Eskimo was almost immediately catapulted amongst the trance elite, add to this his scorching DJ Sets as DJ Junya, that he had been playing worldwide since he was 13, Eskimo is without a doubt one of the most exciting British artists today. His unique production skills and ability to put together a class-A belter saw Eskimo’s tunes begin to show up in the sets of psy trance DJs across the globe.

 By the time he performed his first live set 6 months after the album dropped his repertoire had trebled and so had his ability. Landmark remixes, many still unreleased due to copyright wrangles, from this time included some of the scenes biggest players such as Infected Mushroom and Skazi, but it was his unofficial remix of The Prodigy "Voodoo People" that sealed his reputation on the global dance floor. When this struck everyone knew who Eskimo was. By the summer of 2004 Eskimo dropped his second artist album "Take A Look Out There" a mind-altering collection of tunes let loose on an unsuspecting world including the near legendary "Party Pooper" a track sampling the police shutting down a free party.

 In November 2005 the release of Balloonatic Part One, a genre busting masterpiece redefined the standard of studio trickery yet retained a firm grip on the dance floor. With the release of Balloonatic Part Two in September 2006, Eskimo looks set to seal his already unassailable position as the most original and one of the most popular artists working in dance music today. "mote. - Dust Particle (IDM/Downbeat/Chill) Darren Smith has been a composer, and performer of electronic music for the past 7 years. Under the project Reality Pixie, Darren has been a regular fixture on the Australian party circuit. In 2006 Reality Pixie was signed to Australian label, Gi'iwa Productions and in 2007 was signed to the Russian label Vertigo records. Having earned a reputation for creating emotional, melodic psychedelic trance, Darren has performed all over Australia: at festivals such as Rainbow Serpent, Tribeadelic, Earth Frequency, and Cairns Eclipse 2012. In 2008/9 Darren performed internationally with shows in Russia, Ukraine, Finland and Thailand: with the highlight being Khan Altay Solar Eclipse Festival. In recent years Darren has taken a step back from the world of dancefloor music to focus on his new downtempo electronic music project 'mote.'; a collage of ambient, glitchy breakbeats, melancholy melodies, ethnic vibrations and orchestral oscillations. In 2012 saw the debut ep by mote. entitled Dust Particle, an independent release on Ektoplazm which received 6000+ downloads. Lately Darren has been exploring the acoustic space having mixed his mote catalogue into a cinematic style quadraphonic surround sound set.  "Hello Tree of Life people! This is our entry for the Tree of Life Festival Music Contest for 2013. We are Cavemen. Cavemen is a live electronic music project by Stef van der Poel and Daniel Maalman from The Netherlands. Cavemen tend to colour outside the lines (still getting used to those opposable thumbs) by combining different electronic styles into their psychedelic primordial soup. They describe their style as ‘Funghi’: funky psychedelic music. Psychedelic trance, tribal house, techno, electro, dub-ambient, breakbeat, all these influences could pass by when they perform live. The only rule is that it has to be groovy and that it should rock. Because if there is one thing that Cavemen are experts on, then it is rocks. Loungy and sunny sounds are crossbred with heavy basslines and deep kicks, combined with tribal rhythms that call out to the inner neanderthal. Cavemen LIVE always reacts to the audience, and seeks the common denominator to make everyone move their feet, and because everything is played 100% live and created on the fly, every performance is different in character and can never be repeated in exactly the same way.
