Anticipate you and I worried if we will stay airborne in the old Russian Aeroflot airplane.

Mas is the encounter between visual artist Samantha Corti and composer Théo Fernandez. 

Together, they weave fragments of images and sounds — collected across different eras and recording formats — into a single, living organism. Nothing is ever used in its pure form: each element bears the marks of its own alteration, distortion, and tearing — an attempt to sketch the fever dream of an insomniac.

To give shape to these nocturnal visions, the duo repurposes electronic devices — reel-to-reel recorders, microphones, printers, or cathode-ray televisions — turning them into narrative instruments.

Their work delves into the dialogue between image and sound, guided by a thread of melting memories and sticky souvenirs. Within dystopian, cinematic worlds, they summon fictional characters who lose — or recover — their memory.

Treeotica is a percussive instrument. It is an amplified tree branch that is hooked up to a guitar FX peddle. Attached to it are cello and guitar strings, 10 second re-recordable voice module, and a windup music box. Each sound composition is one uninterrupted single track - an unknown, melodic sound exploration composed in the moment. "Anticipate You and I” is Treeotica’s Sound Story anthology.
