Writer of prose and poetry since mid-1960s. Given an acoustic guitar in 1978 by long-suffering sister. Many songs produced that way. More recently, guitar skills all but faded, using GarageBand and Logic Pro to put words to music.

Here are various solo and collaborative projects - songs, soundscapes, live looped solo guitar improvisations. 

This project used to be called "imaginary friends", but it became too real for that name, as did many of you.

Don’t swim so fast, don’t be so cruel. 
If I could follow you then in my whole life with all I do, I’d follow through.

Opah don’t look at me that way, and don’t speak in that language. 
Sharks are dangerous, and somehow orca are entertaining. 
Dolphins killing, and sea lions cut. 
Coral reefs burning underwater and such. 
We’re just swimming?
We could do so much. 
Don’t lose my touch Opah. 
Don’t swim too fast. 
Don’t be so shy, yet terrifyingly brash. 
About anything you do, when I say, you turn. 
I will close my mouth and let you swim to your urn. 
I’m sorry Opah, you beautiful creature. 
Psychedelic features and an autotelic leader. 
I love you Opah, but I can’t swim that fast. 
I will leave you now, and be one with the sea. 
My fluorescent squid companion waits for me.
