Tree Of Life

JaMuary 24- the aim to create a piece of music (no matter how short or incomplete it is) for as many days as I can during the month.

Most Jamuarys are incomplete or just the start of an idea so I upload them as private here but they are public on my other Soundcloud page @trevbushell and Ive put them in a playlist you can find here on.soundcloud.com/QUFqo :)

This track is 70% complete- took most of the day!!! needs a bit of work ( some of the background and atmosphere sounds, need to be more up to date sounds but ran out of time) but good enough to make public- Ill complete it in February... I'm pleased with the wavetable saw bass that comes in from the intro and I modulate thru the track.. Love that tone

Firstly, I'm fully aware this isnt great but I've just started learning to produce and was wanting to learn how to use Ableton, structure a track and try out some automation, compression and the Vital synth. It's also only using free samples i've found. Secondly, I'd appreciate any constructive feedback or advice if you have any. Thanks :)

Hi! I'm Trevor, an electronic music producer based in Bristol, UK.

Firstly, I really enjoy listening to other artists here on soundcloud and I will always post a comment or like a track if I'm impressed but I prefer to be followed and "liked" only if you dig my music..... so there is NO OBLIGATION to listen or like any of my tracks😊

I've always been drawn to music, rhythm, melody and harmony. I learnt to play the accordian at age 12, but drums eventually became my main instrument and you will hear my love for groove and rhythmic syncopation in my songs.

I've been playing in bands since the age of 15 and started writing music in 1996 after being inspired by a close friend, who was a talented song writer.

My music is emotively driven. I create music as it's therapeutic and the language that allows me to express myself the most. 

I write what I'm feeling at the time so I have quite an eclectic bunch of songs from #deephouse, #triphop to #chill #downtempo #ambient @synthbased #vapourwave #futurefunk #deephouse

I am a home producer. I use ableton mostly.
