Trevor Kidd is a singer, song-writer, producer & musician from Victoria BC, Canada. He has recorded with members of multi-platinum selling bands Billy Talent & Sum 41, performed live with Randy Bachman (Guess Who, Bachman Turner Overdrive) & hit singer/song-writer Tal Bachman, opened for April Wine, appeared on the popular Canadian television show CBC's Dragons' Den & received high praise from iconic seventies all-girl rock band the Runaways (Joan Jett, Lita Ford) lead singer Cherie Currie. He has had 6 songs on commercial radio including air play from one of Canada's largest radio stations the CBC.

He co-wrote, produced and played guitar on the hard rock single “Salvation” released as a duo under Josh Jones and Trevor Kidd in 2022. The song had a music video directed by film maker Alex Sharp (Wired Shut) and since its release on the global film festival circuit has won 13 awards with 5 nominations internationally so far. “Salvation” is recognized on IMDB as an award winning song and music video for 2023.

2013 saw the release of Kidd's first single to make it to radio “Little Dreamer” which featured Ian D'sa & Aaron Solowoniuk of Billy Talent as well as Cone McCaslin of Sum 41. The song was recorded at Metalworks studios in Toronto, ON & produced by 3 time Grammy award winning producer David Bottrill (Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, Kid Rock). The song was released by non-profit charity organization Make Music Matter who works with helping those affected by conflict, disease & violence in third world countries. All digital download sales of that version of "Little Dreamer" go to funding help for those causes.

The original demo of “Little Dreamer” released in 2012 received recognition on social media from seventies rock icon Cherie Currie who fronted Joan Jett & Lita Ford’s first band The Runaways. Around this same time, “Little Dreamer” had also become the Mount Douglas Secondary Grad Class of 2013’s official graduation song. It was voted in by 240 kids & performed by a large choir led by Kidd at the graduation ceremony. In 2013 “Little Dreamer” won first place in the Canada wide song-writing contest My Song for Change promoted by renowned Canadian TV host George Stroumboulopoulos on CBC’s The Hour.

While still in high school Kidd was also part of the teenage rock band Endurance who was the first ever band to appear on the hit Canadian television show Dragons’ Den on CBC. The band was offered a deal of $100, 000 from all 5 Dragons including Canadian business mogul Kevin O’ Leary who also went up to perform with the band on the show. Unfortunately during contract negotiations an agreement wasn’t able to be reached. 2 of the bands’ members later had to return home to the United Kingdom & Endurance disbanded.

Kidd played bass on Stars Blvd.’s (2010 Fox Seeds Platinum Winning Band) song “Crazy Beautiful” which was recorded at Warehouse studios in Vancouver BC. It was produced by Darren Grahn (Motley Crue, The Cult, Metallica) & mixed by Juno award winning engineer Randy Staub (Nickelback, Metallica, Bon Jovi). Kidd was also featured on Stars Blvd.'s debut album cover "Ready to Pop" designed by Dave Benedict of the band Default. He appeared as a monkey version of himself alongside the band.

Kidd is often recording in the studio or doing live session work with bands including UK band The Villanovas in 2016 where he performed with them at the 9th annual Rifflandia Festival & the  23rd annual Blues Bash in Victoria BC, Canada as well as supported & played alongside notable blues guitarist Jesse Roper. In 2019 Kidd along with high school friend & former Endurance band member Brett Smith-Daniels performed live together with Canadian music icon Randy Bachman as well hit singer/song-writer Tal Bachman known for his hit song “She’s So High”.
