Dancing By Myself

This song has a funny history. The instrumental itself started out as a rough idea while I was on vacation out in the mountains of Tennessee with barely any reception and plenty of wine. While scrolling through vocal samples on my laptop I came across an ancient take recorded by Anna Dellamano from some studio sessions years ago, with lyrics provided by the legendary Austin Dellamano. The vocal was actually an original from our old band Acid Bridge, but when I threw them into the session it just clicked too well. 

I hadn’t really planned on releasing this one but it was one of the 400 demos that just kept getting stuck in my head during good times and bad times. So here’s fear, a nice song for cruising through the mountains or dancing to at a party. Big ups to Damyan Cunningham for vibing with me to this for months while I wrapped it up.

"3XP" is a sweet, short, but incredibly solid release by Aurora, Colorado based songwriter, rapper, and producer Cletus E. Kasady. With some dope features by Tony Zones & Rook Purp and Ashton Kynard on his resume already, Cletus manages to break off on his own sound. Consisting of catchy hooks, uniquely characterized flow, and a great beat selection "3XP" is looking to help show everyone just who Cletus. E. Kasady.
