This is a sound compilation developed as a result of a research on listening and storytelling. The focus was predominantly on the relationships that sound creates within spaces, the power relations it establishes or disrupts, and how it consequently influences the stories we construct when we listen.

The initial intention was to assemble sounds in a way that would allow me to find traces of fairy tales in their synchronicity. I was set to prove our dependency on the hopeful escape farytales provide. The final product, instead, surrenders to a fractured narrative condition, where we can overhear familiar sounds or words, but are not given the chance to hear them divulge on their changing nature.
