Originally recorded for our Soho Radio show on 28th December 2022, Nina from Japan gives us a mix to finish off another memorable year.
Nina - born and raised in Kamakura, Japan - is a DJ currently based in London. Influenced by her father (who is a DJ and Jazzy Sport member) Nina started to DJ herself and explore her own sound through her own discoveries in digging vinyl.
In addition to Djing, Nina organises a range of parties and music festivals in Japan -including ‘No Comply’ and ‘Comfort Zone’.
With a primary focus on deep house, she is still not afraid to transcend a wide span of genres including bass-funk, soul, hiphop to broken beat - to ensure that anyone on the floor will be moving to her groove.

Trip the Light family member, amoura, serves up just shy of an hour of shimmery synths, razor sharp breaks and propulsive bass, tightly woven into a cosy, sub heavy blanket, perfect for warming you on these chilly autumn days.
