Originating from an encounter in Florence, where the duo not only shared the stage but also exchanged personal narratives, the EP delves into their unique interpretations of the techno genre. 

The result is a mesmerizing collection of four tracks, characterized by hypnotic melodies, unconventional sequences, detuned synthlines, and the pulsating rhythm of raw drums. The aptly titled release demonstrates the up and coming producer’s ferocious production skills and is backed by a equally quality Progression (UK) remix. Exclusive via AF Bandcamp on Sept 18th

Bjarki returns to трип with another EP brandishing five restructured doses of IDM from another galaxy. Using marching kick drums as a basis, oli gumm takes references from techno, gabber and trance and morphs them into something far less easy to categorise. 

‘oli gumm 2-2’ switches frantically between glistening synth cascades and bouncing kicks. ‘fork2-2’ is a subdued excursion through ominous, trance-inducing strings and skeletal percussion. 

Opening the B side, ‘7 filakaramellur lion bar’ spirals through warped vocals and acoustic contortions, followed by ‘hatann satann’, a high speed voyage through a demonic parallel universe. Closing off the EP, ‘sleikjó’ uses rolling drums to circle around a pit of sparse sonic oddities.

Italian producer MTD drops his 2nd EP on AFR with the Hidden
Message EP. His weaponised style is prevalent here with both an
original version and a tool mix designed for dance floor destruction.
Polish producer Vertical Spectrum returns to AFr as well on remix
duties and delivers a dark and cerebral version of the title track.
