Think of those phonecalls where someone says to you, you gotta meet this new person in town. That's what Ricardo told me about Udi. We met, we talked, we vibed and two days later we were all co-creating this first event! We did more, but this was the start of a beautiful journey together. Music for food is something i can not ignore and i absolutely love doing these projects. How to enhance an already uber sensorial experience? That was the challenge.

“Udi & The Beets” Beetroot Edition marks the debut of a new cooking series where chef and nutritionist Udi Barkan shares his culinary journey through the flavors of Portugal, enriched by his extensive experiences from Israel and beyond. Hosted in unique venues, these events feature wholesome food, stunning set designs, and a musical journey curated by Mike Stellar.

In each edition, Udi selects locally sourced fruits and vegetables, creating a vibrant menu that highlights their diverse flavors. His goal is to inspire guests to embrace more seasonal produce in their daily lives and encourage healthier, plant-forward eating throughout the year.

Next event is 22nd September, and the menu will be focused on figs and tomatoes. Exciting!

This mix is dedicated to the beauty and grandeur of nature, and here's why.

In the fall of 2018, I first visited one of the most beautiful places on the planet - the Carpathian Runa Valley. In fact, the exact name is Polonyna Rivna, but the locals don't care.

While contemplating the fabulous landscapes with my two best friends, we listened to this dub-selection, which immersed us even deeper into a state of higher consciousness. It was in that place that I felt, through all available channels of perception, the aching beauty of nature, its incomparable harmony and our inextricable deep connection. I breathed with the mountains, was the fog flowing into the valleys, was the wind and swaying the trees, felt the vibrations of all living things around. It was this beautiful state that I tried to convey with the mix. It will guide the attentive listener through the full range of emotions we felt there: silent admiration, solemn acquaintance, awe of the greatness, acceptance of earthly energy and joy of transformation.

I feel that those few hours have supplemented my worldview, and I will become even happier if you immerse yourself in RUNADUB for an hour, remembering the most beautiful places and thinking about your place in the Universe.

An intersection of original dubs and outernational electronica, Ashtech’s Walkin’ Target, produced and co-written by Gaudi, was originally released in 2007 on cult Canadian label soundcloud.com/interchill and is now presented for the first time on vinyl.

Tightly structured, Walkin’ Target revolves around soundcloud.com/ashtech’s earth rattling basslines and soundcloud.com/gaudi's solid production aesthetic, with three of the tracks featuring the inimitable vocal stylings of Cheshire Cat (Leftfield). A former bass player with Almamegretta, Ashtech’s intuitive style combined with Gaudi’s melodic flair to create a joyful collection of groove orientated roots and downtempo dubs that upon release found a home in the collection of music lovers worldwide.

Long deleted and not available on any mainstream download or streaming platforms, Ashtech dug out the original audio files, which were lovingly re-mastered for this pressing.

Triptofun was drawn into the world of electronic music in 2004 by listening to a DnB/jungle CD of one czech soundsystem and by his first freetekno party in 2005. Soon he discovered psytrance and since then he has been involved in both techno and psytrance subcultures. The fascination and inspiration of altered states of consciousness, music and dance continues to this day in both his musical and professional life.
He moved from making hardware freetekno to DJing and in 2011 joined the south bohemian psytrance group Kamasutra. His night sets on the mainfloor are mostly techno/ darkprog/ dark psytrance. However, as a multi-genre DJ, he obsessively selects tracks for his sets on a daily basis in genres such as deep dubstep/ bass, deep house, DnB, hip-hop/ trip-hop, garage, wave, ambient, etc., so that he can play at any time of the day according to the concept of the event. 
He has played in NZ, Australia, Latin America, England and several countries in Europe.
He has organized countless musical events both with Kamasutra and solo (Sohma records) or with other groups.
