„Patze, der Booker und die gute Seele der Romy S. hat mich schon die letzten Jahre immer wieder als Support-Act gebucht“, erzählt Philipp Werner. Im letzten Jahr habe er dann monatlich dort gespielt: „Ich bin dann zu sowas wie Patzes DJs des Vertrauens geworden. Als ich davon gehört habe, dass die Romy schließt, war ich natürlich erstmal traurig, aber auch stolz, dass ich das Opening des Closings spielen durfte.“ Da er schon mehrmals für Karotte aufgewärmt hatte, wusste er, dass sie sich musikalisch nicht in die Quere kommen und er Karotte nichts „wegspielen“ würde.
