Taking the stage in Room 1 at 6am on Sunday, following Tomas Station & O.Bee, Harry had a well-defined vision for his performance. Barbara has made many appearances with ReSolute over the years, and has established herself as a dedicated taste maker through her 12inch vinyl label SLICES OF LIFE. which has been active since 2009. She also curates the long-running party series DEEP IN THE BOX which occurs on the GLOBUS floor at Tresor. Enjoy this grooving adventure through some laid-back deep house sounds.

Federico Benedetti aka Onirik is a bit of a renaissance man, he is a DJ, an accomplished one at that, he is an artist, quite a good one with releases on Garage Hermétique, Off The Grid and Dopium Tribe. He also happens to have his own record label, a rather good one too, it's called Garage Hermétique, you will likely have heard of it. ☞ O.BEE 
Known for dancing in between different genres and styles, juggling the tradition and the avant-garde, O.BEE generates obscure yet familiar sonic landscapes, in a signature style that reflects his own musical identity; optimistic yet rebellious and filled by passion. Liberating the dance floor from the accustomed rules and stepping away from functional expectations, he instead cultivates musical trips for both the dancer and the listener. Juxtaposing the stimulating environments of both a intense rave and a concert hall. 

O.BEE's evocative and sophisticated approach to his sets is also reflected in his own music. He has been working hard in and out of the studio with his partner, Rona Budak, on their project “Enstantane”, which functions as both a record label and an multi-disciplinary artist collective. Enstantane 001 is to be released in the second half of 2018, along with an event series and the subscription based website enstantane.io. 

☞ Tomas Station 
Growing up between Bogotá and Chicago, Tomás experienced at an early age a clash of cultures and sounds that would open doors to a lifelong musical obsession.  

For the past few years Tomás has kept on the move, constantly searching for new sounds and experiences, rapidly building a reputation for himself as an exciting up-and-coming talent. His productions on labels such as Daily session NY, Descendants Of The Deep, Moody Recordings and Future Funktion have captivated the likes of Danny Krivit, Raresh, Magda and Douglas Sherman (The Loft), to name a few, while his electrifyingly unpredictable taste as a DJ and curator has earned him more than one spot at the decks alongside some of the most respected selectors and DJ’s around. 

While living in NY he worked as music buyer for Halcyon The Shop and as booker and resident for Kolekti and Zodiac Social, hosting parties with Soul In The Hole (Sadar Bahar & Lee Collins), Metro Area & Mark Grusane, amongst many others.  

He recently returned to Brooklyn after some years on the road to work on his most recent endeavours which include Jigit, a record label and collective alongside Turkish DJ and producer O.BEE and visual artist Asli Tunaman that released his debut EP under the Irie Nation moniker and to consolidate his long time friendship with the ReSolute party and agency where he will be joining the roster and acting as one of the resident DJ’s.

☞ Between young talents and renowned artists, Yoyaku's aim is to promote the best of electronic music, all around the world, by supporting artists in their progression, as a label, a record store, and a brand. Long-standing and more recent collaborations come together to form a close-knit community, allowing the artists in the roster to meet and sometimes share the decks for exciting events. 
The brand’s know-how has enabled it to acquire a significant reputation in the electronic music sector, both in France and abroad, and to attract the new talents of tomorrow’s scene.

An hour of tripped-out groovers with classy elements of progressive house that you'll often find punctuating his productions, both solo and alongside Jacopo Latini as DMA. It is impossible to discuss Romanian artist Vlad Caia and not mention Amphia, SIT, and Amorf. All these different entities are intrinsically linked, but they most certainly do not define Vlad. Like his aforementioned brothers, Vlad is an accomplished solo artist and his critically received long players on Amphia are a mainstay in any discerning Ro lover collection. The demure appearance of Romanian artist Praslea belies his deep involvement in the music industry. With his name appearing on top events, especially in his home town of Bucharest, circa 2007, Florin Cunțan is a certified don of our scene. Having been inducted into the [a:pia:r] clique from an early age his “Jurnal De Bord” EP way back in 2009 he has hardly been prolific, but this is not where his real talent lies. With his solo credentials above reproach, it is par for the course for Praslea and his peers to perform together even at the biggest of events. So, it is hardly surprising that two artists from this family should join forces on the regular and that partnership is Praslesh. Not wishing to over comment on this duo, this does, however, go some way to explain the level of skill that Florin commands. Few artists command the legacy that Italian artist Alex Picone has at his disposal. Having long since relocated to Barcelona, Alex is perhaps one of the busiest men in the business. Between running Small Black Dots, both record store and distribution arm, he also runs the interconnected seekers label and series of parties, and then there is also the artist. Alex is a regular face on the touring circuit and should be sought out whenever his name appears on a lineup near you. His sheer experience in the game is worthy alone of the many plaudits he receives, but it is his tenacity and willingness to keep striving for the sonic audience. [continue reading at...

Radio Pager Episode 52 - COMFORT ZONE

This week on the podcast, a mix from friend of the festival and celebrated Cartulis resident Junki Inoue. Born in Tokyo but living in London since 2012, Junki's been an avid record collector from an early-age. Few have bags as deep, something shown by this mix, which happens to be an hour section of his set from Dimensions 2022. It's testament to the timeless sound he's cultivated that you'd never tell.

Catch Junki at Dimensions this summer, playing during Cartulis' showcase at Cosmos on the Saturday.
