Second State will drop its next various artists' compilation this summer featuring 12 artists from today’s techno scene, showcasing their individual sound and production skills. The 11 tracks each incorporate elements from techno sub-genres to create a varied and intoxicating release from the Berlin imprint, welcoming Second State regulars and new names alike to continue paving the way for the label’s sound. 

Returning to Second State is Yotam Avni, who opens the record with the dynamically layered ‘Panic’. The breakdowns of this track switch up during its flow, varying in intensity as it progresses. Valentinø and My Flower hasten the pace with ‘Lightfire’, packed with minimal drumwork, booming bass and phased bursts of ethereal keys. Up next is Simon Stiglmeier with a piece of kaleidoscopic techno in ‘Dancy’, complete with a grooving vocal synth. SOTO follows with enveloping bass and rippling synth waves in ‘Core’, whilst Techno live band Komfortrauschen power on with a warbling bassline and whirring atmospherics with ‘Each Second’. 

‘Subconscious Reset’ from Juliet Fox contributes a barrage of alarms and sharp, chilling synths that echo menacingly throughout, followed by Isabel Soto with pulsating cut ‘Momentum’ - a stripped back, down-tempo roller. Gutto Serta takes listeners down a rabbit hole with trippy cut ‘Maximize’, with airy pads whispering underneath bleeps and a sultry vocal sample. Building the record to crescendo is Dextro’s booming and raucous track ‘Omonoia’, with razor sharp hoover sounds and an earth-shattering kick & hi-hat combo. Maintaining the powerful energy is Daryl Stay with his propulsive weapon ‘Phalanx’, followed by the final track from Avision, ‘Tunnel’, featuring playful synth and acid lines that bounce over the phased percussion, and a shift in pitch to build the track’s intensity.

We are happy to present you a four-track EP from D-Unity on Tronic! The tracks feature heavy tribal drums combined with tight production and uplifting vocals! D-Unity also made a collaboration with Colombian rising star Juli Aristy 'Suena Mas Fuerte' delivering a chunky tribal groover! Overall a great EP with good variety and lots of energy!

We welcome Buenos Aires based Romina Dez and Muter to the Tronic family! Romina Dez has previously released on Tronic for our Rockets albums. 'Fascination', the main track of this EP was produced by both Romina and Muter, and is a peak time affair with a catchy vocal and a heavy bass line. We recruited Italian groove master M.I.T.A. for remix duties. He delivered a jacking mix for the rawer crowds. To finish off the single Romina Dez gave us two more originals that are very effective tool-based techno tracks. Enjoy!

Unrilis is back with the next instalment in its Rilis series, which is a raw techno EP with machine funk grooves by Dara Ashrafi.

Rino Cerrone is an Italian techno icon who launched Unrilis before his retirement from the music industry and Rilis is an iconic series of classic releases that he used to experiment with new ideas.

Rilis was recently relaunched over two decades after Rino Cerrone's last release in the series and it's featured new music by artists who share its philosophy, including the likes of A.Paul, DJ Dextro, Samuel L Session and Ritzi Lee.

Dara Ashrafi is an aspiring young talent from the American city of Los Angeles and prior to this release, he has appeared on imprints such as refused., Heist Mode, AMPED, Dark Wave and DECKREKORD. He has already been making waves on LA's underground club scene and has been steadily rising through the ranks after dropping his first official release in 2021.
