Tronus is a Barcelona based techno project with a unique, intense and emotional sound.

A singular project defined by an unbound vision of music that mirrors a philosophy built up over the lives of Albert Díaz and Víctor Quintana. An evolution from classical techno rawness into a 21st century complex sound, layered with hypnotic harmonies, rich atmospheres and unforgiving bass lines.

Since their debut album ‘Infra LP’ on 2017, every release has been supported and charted by top techno artists around the globe such as Laurent Garnier, Len Faki, Abstract Division, Answer Code Request, Antigone, Arnaud Le Texier, Boston 168, Charlotte de Witte, Deepbass, Flug, Francois X, Paul Ritch, Takaaki Itoh, Sam Paganini, Shlømo or Richie Hawtin, who selected 'Protos' as one of his Top Ten tracks of 2017 for BBC Radio 1.

That quickly catches the attention at Insert, benchmark club for Barcelona’s modern techno renaissance. Having become Insert residents in 2018, their intricate an expressive Hybrid Set became one of the most in-demand around the city’s top-notch venues such as Razzmatazz or Moog. 

Far from settling down, in 2019 this progression kept on with a debut at Berlin’s Griessmühle, Brunch in Barcelona, and a hometown residency at the new Rezonanz Club, hosted by Flug.

Today Tronus keep pushing their way into the future through a vision of techno as musical avant-garde, hi-tech art and experimentation.


Dj barcelonés que mezcla temas de Techno con EBM colgándose directo en los descarados ritmos de la Dark-Wave, siempre con algo de Electro muy serio de por medio, y terminando con un crudo y oscuro Post-Punk. Esto quiere decir que necesita sets de al menos 3h para contarnos su historia y que al mismo tiempo haya variedad, consiguiendo así sesiones nada lineales. Una conexión musical muy arquitectónica que gana fuerza a medida que avanza el set, finalizando con una vibra muy dinámica e industrial y un bajo hecho para oídos duros. Un verdadero viaje electrónico por la mente de cada uno de los que se encuentran en la pista, para así llegar a la conexión que busca y contarnos lo que siente en ese mismo momento, atacando con una finísima y cortante técnica en sus manos. En su ciudad lleva un buen recorrido por lo que son los clubs más típicos, como Moog, Macarena micro club, Bee Cool, R33, M7 club, The Garage of the Bass Valley, The Void, entre otras... Tiene su propia marca de eventos, dicha marca que es Klang Bcn ya es conocida en la ciudad condal por su abanico de música electrónica diferente a la que se suele ver en la escena.

Dj from Barcelona who mixes Techno songs with EBM, hanging directly into the cheeky rhythms of the Dark-Wave, always with some very serious Electro in between, and ending with a raw and dark Post-Punk. This means that he needs sets of at least 3 hours to tell us his story and that at the same time there is variety, thus achieving non-linear sessions. A very architectural musical connection that gains strength as the set progresses, ending with a very dynamic and industrial vibe and a bass made for hard ears. A true electronic trip through the mind of each one of those who are on the track, in order to reach the connection that he seeks and tell us what he feels at that very moment, attacking with a very fine and cutting technique in his hands. In his city he has a good tour of what are the most typical clubs, such as Moog, Macarena micro club, Bee Cool, R33, M7 club, The Garage of the Bass Valley, The Void, among others... He has his own brand of events, the brand that is Klang Bcn is already known in Barcelona for its range of electronic music different from what is usually seen on the scene.
