Lead track 'I Know' was a firm favourite among the Earful of Wax crates and customers and is one of our fastest sellers to date.

WeeDot. - Polka Dot Disco Club Takeover

For our next installment of the 'Live' Podcast we draw from one of the recordings from the 28th of April. On the night Eastern Bloc hosted the Mixing Mates collective and who better than the founder Kerry 'Weedot' McColgan to provide an hour of bouncy warm-up before 'Gallegos' stepped up to play.

Some words on Kerry and mixing mates:
WeeDot. began DJing back in 2015, and since beginning she has gone on to play at multiple festivals, club nights and was a resident for Mixmag between 2016-2018. This then sparked her to start Mixing Mates which she describes as "A night based around a bunch of mates getting together to bring to you some of our favourite DJ’s, music & dance moves - to which we believe set times should be longer than an hour and line ups should not be overcrowded."

Since Mixing Mates was founded back in October 2017, Kerry has brought over some of her favourite DJ's like Holly Lester, DJ Fart in the Club, Jordan Nocturne, Azo, Amaliah, Baby Rollen and Gallegos, to name but a few. During lockdown, she decided to take the brand to the next stage and began exploring the idea of becoming a record label, with a series MMW which is strictly 100 copies, white label, hand stamped vinyl. The first 2 releases fully sold out, with only a handful of MMW003 remaining and Kerry is currently working on the 4th release. To top that off, Mixing Mates has just signed up for a monthly residency show with komunal radio (komrad.net) where they have the 8pm slot every first Thursday of the month.
