LVT is a DJ and event producer from the west coast of Canada. Over the past decade she has organized and performed at countless late night events and a few festivals, hosting a myriad of artists from around the globe and recently curating a venue called Dolly in Vancouver. LVT enjoys weaving musical stories with deep, cerebral sounds within the realms of techno, ambient, bass music or hybrid genres. She also hosts a mix series called Music For Interstellar Spacecrafts, and is working on some music to release in the future.

Oslated Special Mix 020 - LVT

Born and educated in Rome, the young Italian producer  Luigi Tozzi  was strongly influenced by the roman scene and its local artists, many of whom gave a crucial contribution to the birth and growth of the deep techno sound. Luigi’s music has so far been released on the established label  Dynamic Reflection  as well as setting a regular cooperation with the very promising and mysterious techno label  Hypnus Records  from Sweden, where he found a platform that inspired him to develop his style. Melting the tribal and hypnotic elements of techno with the atmospheric and emotional side of ambient music he is making his own path in the world of electronics. Recently this has gotten him in contact with  Dino Sabatini  which led to the opportunity to join  Outis Music  that has released well known artists such as  Modern Heads ,  Brando Lupi ,  Donato Dozzy  among others.

Over the past decade, she has organized and performed at numerous late-night events and several festivals, welcoming a diverse array of artists from around the world. She has been curating an event series called Dolly in Vancouver.
She enjoys crafting musical narratives with deep, cerebral sounds, exploring the realms of techno, ambient, bass music, and hybrid genres. She also hosts a mix series titled Music For Interstellar Spacecrafts.
For our series, LVT creates a deep story with percussive elements, inviting both your body and mind.

It's May 1st and we're delighted to share with you a new mix from Vancouver, Canada based LVT, guru of the superb Music For Interstellar Spacecrafts podcast channel. Nikki has been DJing and organizing events for more than a decade, currently operating Vancouver's DOLLY which delivers some of the best underground parties in her city. She's made mixes for many great podcasts such as Deep Breakfast, Monument, Delayed, and Precept, just to name a few; Here she takes us on an interstellar journey through dreamy ambient, lunar experimental music, syncopated and precise rhythms, smooth grooves and hypnotic techno. As a DJ she is motivated by the emotional forces found within soundscapes, either in dance music, ambient or the places one floats between genres. Whiteness is dazzling – an immediate response would be to cover the face and close your eyes. Yet the body is at a standstill. The world here is at a standstill too. Or this is how it seems. The vision clears from sunbeam reflections to see a monumental wall of ice – white glacier joins the sea. Constantly moving, constantly changing, forever trapped and liberated in its impermanence.
