In The Club, the latest collaboration from Spanish producer TecHouzer and Mexican DJ Djahir Miranda, released on Crazy Nutz Music, represents a vibrant and refined statement of Tech House, crafted specifically for the club environment. TecHouzer, a veteran with over two decades in the electronic music scene, is known for his fresh and dancefloor-friendly style, boasting performances at iconic venues such as FABRIK, Groove, and Supercervecería de Radical in Madrid. His productions have featured on respected labels including Hotfingers, Klaphouse Records, Be One Records, and Tribal Kitchen, garnering support from established artists like UMEK, Fatima Hajji, DJ Oliver, and wAFF. Complementing this, Djahir Miranda, a seasoned Mexican producer and DJ with more than 18 years of experience, is distinguished by his accelerated style, deep basslines, percussive drops, and potent synthesizers. Initially influenced by Psytrance luminaries such as Astrix, Pixel, and Domestic, he expanded his horizons to Tech House, Minimal Techno, and Progressive Trance, releasing on labels like Hotfingers, Form Music, Taikkata Récords, and Matinée Music. Supported by artists including Mark Knight, Don Diablo, Popof, and Chris Lake, Djahir has performed at renowned venues including Café Olé, H2O, Pacha México, and WTC México, earning acclaim for his energy and charisma. The EP opens with In The Club, operating at a steady 128 BPM and set in the key of 1A. This track features a driving, dry, and precise kick drum that anchors the production, while crisp snares, clean hi-hats, and subtle tribal percussion weave a dynamic yet minimal groove that energizes without overwhelming. The bassline is fluid and warm, complementing the percussion perfectly. The female vocal repeatedly chants In The Club, treated with clarity and enveloping sound design, forming a hypnotic hook central to the tracks identity. Smart automation and modulation of percussive elements such as toms and rhythmic accents add subtle variations while maintaining a linear, DJ-friendly structure. 999999999 is an abstract concept from the minds of two people who do not feel the need to define it. It is spontaneous, random, unlimited. This project, officially started in July 2016, has already affected several important Clubs and Parties in different cities in Europe and aroused much interest even outside the continent. First two releases on their label "Nine Times Nine" and the most recent appearance on Planet Rhythm special "303" vinyl release were immediately sold out after few hours. Live is what they are whether in or out of the studio, they are spontaneous. Improvisation with hardware is the key element of their performance and is impossible to replicate.

Born into an artistic and musical family in Chicago, Juana’s passion for music began early in childhood with the sound of her dad’s guitar, a gifted record from her mother, local rock radio stations and wedding reception dances. Turning this early enthusiasm for dance music into a full-time job, Juana now moves and inspires others through genre-hopping DJ sets driven by powerful acapellas, original edits and unique blends. Since moving to Washington, DC 15 years ago, Juana has found a home for her ecstatic sets, drawing the attention and admiration of both local dancers and international promoters. A fixture in the DC electronic scene, Juana delivers dance music with contagious energy, often closing out nights for more well-known, European headliners. As part of the SEQUENCE underground collective of DC-based DJs and promoters, she can be found on the roster at any one their weekly parties around the city. In addition to her involvement with the local nightlife scene, Juana is part of the growing and impactful DISCWOMAN roster, and has recently taken her thrilling sets to more international dancefloors. Despite her growing profile, Juana remains one of the most kind and humble in the business, content to focus on sharing her lifelong love of music with others. Her Truancy Volume for us epitomizes that sentiment, and is a warm embrace of a mix that is sure to have you dancing. Over the coming spring and summer months Pacific Rhythm will be releasing a handful of cassette tapes comprised of live recordings, demos, and other moments in time we felt needed to be committed to something physical and shared with the world. 

Our first cassette is a soon to be legendary recording from ESB, recorded live at Deep Blue Studios during a Dance Opportunity with LNS in the winter of 2017. The recording is just under an hours worth of ebullient Machine Funk that drifts effortlessly through his unique brand of melodic house with tinges of Balearic influence and classic West Coast energy. 

You can expect to hear more from ESB on Pacific Rhythm in the near future but for now please enjoy this essential sampling of one of Canada's most unstated and exciting producers.
