His productions and DJ sets glimmer with the sort of pastel-tinged positivity that runs through the veins of True Romance and his next release continues this thread, providing 2 softly lucent grooves primed for amorous dance floors. 

'It's What You Know' kicks off with the title track which comes adorned with vocals from Oklahoma-based vocalist Anne Reburn. An impeccable mixdown gives body and depth to a steady, chugging track which provides a perfect surface for Reburn's seductive tones. 

'All I've Wanted Is A Gucci Sweater' then follows up with a lively Italo jam-packed with sawtooth riffs, vocoders, and snappy percussion. Portamento synths slide over buoyant, playful stabs which keep the vibe fun and vibrant throughout another varied and playable addition to the True Romance catalog.

Meet Tayir, a refreshing Berlin-based duo devoted to making good music for good people. Originally from Egypt, the lads caught Tensnake's attention and he promptly opened the doors of his acclaimed True Romance Records for the forthcoming brick on the wall of the young virtuosos' promising journey. For the occasion, they brought to life two energetic and well-constructed originals filled with progressive and melodic elements. And before you ask: Yes, it's 100%-guaranteed peak-time material.

Take the track we were solicited to premiere, for example: "Just Keep Me" delivers its message at 126 BPM (go for 132, if you need/like) and it comes wrapped in 1990s groove seasoned with a 2000s gait! Jubilant vocal hooks topping the percussive layer and the bouncing bassline warm you up for T-H-E piano big entrance. That's when you have the "Oh, yeah, baby! Right there! That's the right spot!" moment. Priceless, isn't it?

Next up on True Romance is a slice of zenith-energy Italo from long term label friends Dan Corco and Max Muller. The duo have appeared across Tensnake's catalogue in varying forms - both as individual artists and collaborators - and here they do what they do best in aligning a potent studio set up in the creation of some immaculately executed dance floor heat.

An Alpha Juno line dictates the groove, gathering momentum as it snowballs over the top of a slapping, muscle-bound Disco kit. Panned stabs pop out with colour while a treated vocal bleeds in at the base of an electrifying breakdown. The drop boxes back in with equal doses of sass and drama that make it an absolute sure-shot for a peak-time dance floor.
