The first remix from Italian pal Musumeci, who runs his own Engrave LTD label and gets support from Dixon and Ame amongst others, is much more stripped back and reworks the track into a broody, rubbery, fulsome house cut for backrooms and late night hours. It is a real spine tingler before Peter Pardeike (a Cologne based producer and live act who has often worked with Marcus Worgull) goes just as deep. His angelic pads add a sense of elegance to the groove as it rolls on and on. When the tender vocals come in, it truly sets the track off and marks another fine release for 2DIY4.

Fabian Reichelt presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.141

Nach einem kleinen Sommerloch freuen wir uns euch heute unsere #141 präsentieren zu dürfen. Dafür verantwortlich zeichnet sich diesmal unser hoch geschätzter Freund und Kollege Fabian Reichelt. Er zählt seit etlichen Jahren zu den wohl umtriebigsten Akteuren der elektronischen Musikszene und hat sich in dieser Zeit mehr als nur einmal neu erfunden. 

Anfangs noch im Jazz, Rock und Soul unterwegs, folgte im Jahr 2010 seine ersten Gehversuche im Bereich der elektronischen Tanzmusik. Er schloss sich zu dieser Zeit mit einem gewissen Marek Hemmann zusammen und starteten mit ihrem Projekt ‘Marian’ gleich mal so richtig durch - wir alle kennen ihren Sommerhit “Left” (youtu.be/X9dWgsh7TAM) - ein zeitloses Meisterwerk.

2012 folgte dann der Zusammenschluss mit seinem Freund Raycoux Jr., der sich zu dieser Zeit bereits einen Namen in der Technoszene erarbeitet hatte. ‘Reichelt & Raycoux’ bilden neben ihrer eigentlichen Kooperation als Liveact auch das DJ Duo ‘Faray’. Stehen die beiden als Faray an den Decks, dann sind die Beats etwas düsterer und die Basslines satter. Bekannt geworden sind sie für ihre scheinbar endlosen Sets im Sisyphos und ihre Release auf namhaften Labels wie Voltage Musique Records und Heinz Music. 

Hin und wieder kann man Fabian aber auch solo hinter den Decks erleben und dann kann es auch schon mal passieren, dass er mit allerfeinsten Disco Sounds die feiernde Meute in seinen Bann zieht. Egal ob Techno, Disco oder Afterhour - dieser Mann kann einfach alles. Und so überrascht es auch nicht, dass er für uns ganz tief in seine Sammlung eingetaucht ist und uns ein exquisites Afterhour Mixtape gezaubert hat - Prädikat “Weltklasse”.

Wir möchten uns an dieser Stelle ganz herzlich bei Fabian bedanken und wünschen euch nun wie immer maximalste Unterhaltung.
