@judith_van_waterkant und Rosanna sind sich vor 2 Jahren zum ersten Mal begegnet. Sie war Teil von Rosannas Doku «Call me DJ!» über Frauen in der elektronischen Musik (Abrufbar in der ARD Mediathek) und hat Rosanna, nach eigener Aussage, mit ihrer Klugheit und ihrer Eloquenz schwer beeindruckt.

"Für mich war es darum ein No Brainer, als sie mich vor ein paar Monaten gefragt hat, ob sie auf ihrer Mini-Tour mit ihrem guten Freund @andys.echo bei mir in der Swiss Selection vorbeischauen darf. Und zwischendurch sprechen wir über die unterschiedliche Wahrnehmung von Männern und Frauen in der elektronischen Musik und ihre gemeinsame Tour. Hi there. I had a great gig at Kater Blau a few weeks ago, so I'm sharing the more interesting part of my set with you. 

After writing up the tracklist I realized how this set is a mix of new and old. The first half hour is mostly tunes from 2006 to 2016. It wasn't something I intended. Usually on stage, I'm consciously thinking about sectioning my set by mood, intensity, BPM, and texture...but perhaps unconsciously I was also thinking about grouping music together by age...or maybe it was just a coincidence. Regardless, I now have a new way to think about building an arc of a set, which is kind of fun.

I thought it all came together alright, so I hope you enjoy the recording as much as I enjoyed playing.
