In an effort to push out more consistent material without escaping the nature of showcasing the hottest up-and-coming talents in the bass music scene, Inspected are phasing out their coveted Powered by Inspected compilations for their new Powered by Inspected EP series. Shorter collections promoting equally boundary-breaking music, no compromises.

The inaugural project, Powered by Inspected - Series 1, is a four-track endeavour encapsulating all walks of bass music. @echomap kicks things off in high gear with ‘Heat,’ a melodic bass roller highlighted by a groovy bassline and glitchy fills that is equally delicate in its songwriting as it is crisp in its sound design. After making his debut on the label earlier this year, the mysterious @Protial returns to Inspected with a quintessential contribution to Series 1 titled ‘Peeker’s Advantage,’ and everything from its rolling arps to its repeated vocal chops embody his signature sound. @TruFonix, the house-leaning alias of Torqux, follow suit with the uplifting ‘Snow,’ a danceable bop layered with cheerful tones and serene soundscapes primed for late summer nights. Last but certainly not least, Austria-based @voljum offers the most aggressive track of the project in ‘missile.’ Through distorted bass, rugged synths and a menacingly robotic nature, voljum makes his mark on Series 1 in style.

Lucio Agustín is a DJ and producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was introduced into electronic music thanks to the influence of artists like Archie Hamilton, Enzo Siragusa, Apollonia, Mandar, Phil Weeks, Djebali, Traumer, among others.
In 2012, Lucio decided it was necessary to have a professional formation as a musician so he started to study in ARJAUS, a very well-known school of electronic music from Buenos Aires.
Three years later, he was ready to make a raid into productions. His releases were very successful and launched by different labels such as Little Helpers, Bondage Music, Cyclic Records, among many others. All this experience gave him the inspiration to develop his own DJ style which combines House, Techno and Minimal sounds.
Since finding his own genre, Lucio has played in some of the most important local clubs such as Pacha Buenos Aires, Rio Electronic Music, Bahrein Buenos Aires, Niceto Club, INPUT BA and Esvedra among others.
In 2016 Lucio has founded SUSTAIN, his own event producer, wherein each performance he can express his mixing skills.
After more than 70 releases on Beatport is how to get positioned as one of the top 10 Minimal Artists of 2017 reaching number 6 in Beatport.
His first participation in vinyl was for Little Helpers achieving the top 1 sales in deejay.de
Actually, Lucio is working in new projects with Ableton Live for future live performances.
