Starting his career as a producer & DJ 7 years ago, MAXIM has had standout appearances at Boiler Room, BCCO & Live From Earth Klub, along with his own collective First Contact. While primarily 4x4 focussed, MAXIM’s mixing style doesn’t conform to genre. His style can be often found fusing Techno and Trance with Electro, Breakbeat and UK inspired basslines. 

With that being said, MAXIM’s productions are recognised for their Trance Techno Aesthetic and have found their home on labels around the world, even as far as Colombia with his release 'Ilusion' on TnR Records and his latest Vinyl Release on Laburnūm Records. Other artists who have supported MAXIM's music are VTSS, SPF.DJ, Sara Landry, Future.666, Bailey Ibbs and more.

Whatever your personal sonic preference, if you are a fan of intense, driven groove and expert sound design then MAXIM provides this on a platter.

After being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouse, backyard, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the monikers David F & Audio Injection, which landed him on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 as resident at the now defunct yet infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz. He currently runs a new event series together with Drumcell and Oktaform named “Observe”.

In early 2011, he started the project Truncate to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases early on gained critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Eats Everything, Joris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink, Slam, Loco Dice, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Ellen Alien, Miss Kittin, Carl Cox & Nicole Moudaber. He has also released original works on 50 Weapons, Ultramajic, Blueprint, Ei8ht, Figure and of course his own imprint Truncate. He has also collaborated with Jimmy Edgar, Chambray and most recently started a new project with Ben Sims as ‘Assailants’ which they’ve released on their own imprint ‘Obscurity Is Infinite’.

A rigorous international tour schedule has since followed, including stops and regular appearances at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam, Output in New York, and many more.

With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.

Kai is a UK born techno DJ and producer from the North East of England, residing in South Shields. He has been passionate about techno since getting his first set of decks in 2013, starting to produce in 2015.

Specialising in hard hitting techno with support from big names such as 999999999,HATE, Randomer and Angy Kore.

Kai’s first ever release 'Philosopher' on Biotech Recordings, had big support from Maceo Plex played around the world in some of the biggest clubs and cities, giving him a lot of motivation to progress. since then he has recently changed his style to a more fast paced, harder hitting side of techno.
