Perc Trax’s transatlantic duo Donor / Truss return to the label for the follow-up to their ‘Indifference EP’ which was released at the start of 2010. Since then they have recorded and remixed for a number of high-profile labels, most notably Stroboscopic Artefacts to which Donor contributed an EP to the label’s renowned ‘Monad’ series whilst Truss appeared on the remix EP the preceded Lucy’s debut album.  

The four tracks that form ‘Endo’ represent a new peak for the Donor / Truss sound with each individual section working as both a self-contained track and a quarter of the entire Endo experience. Together the 4 parts join together to make a complete piece of music, stretching across 23 minutes and 2 sides of vinyl.

Endo’s 2 and 3 were given a run out in the recent Donor/Truss mix for Chris Liebing’s infamous CLR podcast series, exposing Tom & Greg's sound to a wider audience than ever before. Across all the tracks various themes and motifs appear regularly , fade away and reappear, being subtly twisted each time they emerge. 

Endo 1 is the perfect introduction to the piece as its grinding distortion lures you in and sets the atmosphere; Endo 2 is built on a multitude of glitches and Endo’s 3 and 4 add wooden knocks and brutal hand claps to increase the rhythmic intensity as the EP nears its close.

Hallo!

It was a great surprise and honor for me that I was invited to play the Innervisions Uberall(es) at Berghain last weekend as a last minute addition.

When I arrived at the club I was shocked about what was going on there... 
It felt like New Years Eve on a Sunday evening in October. 

I pissed my pants.

NU and Jo Ke under the name "Feathered Sun". Unfortunately Raz Ohara who also belongs to the Feathered Sun has been missing for this one :-( 
That Sunday (April 7th) we spent in Brasilia rounded off the amazing weekend in the smoothest and nicest way we could imagine.

Alle Farben - Fusion 2013 (Secret Set @ Firespace)

After being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouse, backyard, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the monikers David F & Audio Injection, which landed him on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 as resident at the now defunct yet infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz. He currently runs a new event series together with Drumcell and Oktaform named “Observe”.

In early 2011, he started the project Truncate to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases early on gained critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Eats Everything, Joris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink, Slam, Loco Dice, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Ellen Alien, Miss Kittin, Carl Cox & Nicole Moudaber. He has also released original works on 50 Weapons, Ultramajic, Blueprint, Ei8ht, Figure and of course his own imprint Truncate. He has also collaborated with Jimmy Edgar, Chambray and most recently started a new project with Ben Sims as ‘Assailants’ which they’ve released on their own imprint ‘Obscurity Is Infinite’.

A rigorous international tour schedule has since followed, including stops and regular appearances at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam, Output in New York, and many more.

With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.
