Founded in 2000 Taciturn was originally made as an outlet for U.S. drum and bass artists. With major distribution through RED/SONY/BMG for CDs artist have great oportunities to reach every corner of North America. These artists include Datcyde, Swarm, DJ SS, Jo-S, and Woogie amongst others.

Projects from DJ Hype, Black Sun Empire (BSE) and other big name Drum & Bass artists have also been released.

The digital portion of the label also enables artists to get their songs and album on Beatport, Juno, iTunes, YahooMusic and most other pay download sites.
