Compared to Europe and the rest of the western world, mental health awareness is close to non- existent in Africa. A culture that prides itself on ‘Strength’ in both body and mind has led to a cultural lack of awareness around mental health. Specifically looking at my country of origin, Zambia. I aim to explore the dysphoria between the younger and older generations. While at the same time hoping to shed light on people and organizations that are trying to break these trends and make the country more aware of the a health condition that has no bias.
