SuperJaimie's powerful vocals emerge from the misty haze with a message of expression and of love, in a spacious mix that calls for dancers to get lost in it. The cast of collaborators includes Mario Gentili on keys, Alvise Marino on guitar and label head Danilo Braca on production / mixing / mastering duties.

Presentamos el nuevo lanzamiento de SuperJaimie & Danilo Braca  titulado Xpress Yourself. 

Esta potente pista en clave House esta formada por un torrente acid y aullidos de guitarra de rock que flotan dentro de un ritmo hipnótico, sombrío y laborioso en el que Danilo Braca se siente como pez en el agua y expone toda su influencia balear. La mezcla original de SuperJaime es soñadora y estratosférica, la versión de Braca es un REM ardiente y celestial que llega de modo elegante y sensual para cargar de magia las noches de este verano 2022. 

Beatless Mix: Incorpóreo de la voz y el bajo del original, los pads gaseosos se encuentran con la instrumentación atmosférica elevada en esta fantasía espacial susurrante e idílica.

SuperJaimie:

Charlotte Balibar, también conocida como SuperJaimie, es una DJ y vocalista francesa radicada en Nueva York. Su viaje en la música comenzó con lecciones de piano en París a una edad temprana, luego se convirtió en cantante y tocaba en bandas locales cuando era adolescente y adulta joven.

Después de mudarse a Nueva York a finales de los 90, Charlotte actuó como cantante de Jazz/Bossa/Francés y se unió al coro Lafayette Inspirational Ensemble en Brooklyn. Charlotte comenzó como DJ como parte de la comunidad creativa de Fort Greene/Clinton Hill, cuando comenzó a tocar en el ahora legendario lugar local Grand 275. Luego rápidamente obtuvo residencias y gigs en toda la ciudad. Después de entretener a diversas multitudes en lugares de renombre de la ciudad de Nueva York durante casi 10 años, SuperJaimie perfeccionó su sonido como profundo, melódico y maravilloso, y se aventuró a crear su propia música. Lanzó su sencillo debut "Feel The Vibe" en The Sound of New York City en el verano de 2019. Su segundo sencillo "Homage To Jean S", un tributo a la actriz estadounidense y activista por los derechos civiles Jean Seberg, fue lanzado a principios de 2021. seguido de "Xpress Yourself" en 2022.


Danilo Braca:

Danilo Braca es un experto profesional del audio, con una larga trayectoria como ingeniero de mezcla, DJ y productor musical. Nacido en Italia e influenciado por el amor de su padre por coleccionar discos y por equipos de alta fidelidad para audiófilos, Danilo comenzó a pinchar a la edad de 13 años. Poco después comenzó a trabajar como ingeniero de sonido en Estudios de música en Roma.

SuperJaimie's 1st single "Feel The Vibe” is a sultry slow burner, with vocals like a mantra chant over a deep low end that is as thumping as it is coy and oh très sexy. French vocals and Italo influences are all over the joint, one for new lovers and late nights.

DJ Rocca on remix duty turns all dials to 11 with a raucous dancefloor bomb that will make any room catch fire. Squiggly synths sail over a bassline deeper than the Mariana Trench, relentless waves of drums carry you away far from the shore and into the night with Superjaimie’s siren call echoing out in the waves.

Glenn Davis lets the sun in with a summery take on “Feel The Vibe”, warm rhodes vamping away over a funky swung groove and slap bass & strings weaving in and out of the mix... a sunset affair equally at home on an island as on a sweaty rooftop.

Danilo Braca goes for a Italo dreamy House, a pulsating rhythm section, a stunning jazz flute solo by the one Luca Roccatagliati, wah wah guitars and bird calls giving way to bursts of tribal groove made to move bodies and souls
In the NuDisco Revision, synths turn into marimbas and the drums crispy fried, snapping away as a chunky bassline keeps your behind in motion.
The Fooling in the Dark mix, all moody pads, squelchy 303s and jacking beats is an eyes closed cosmic techno trip for the late night.

“The Sound of New York City® is a project born from the idea of its founder back in 2006 to encourage the rediscovery of the Disco Sound, including Soul – Funk – House, while at the same time make use of his extensive vinyl collection, much of which was gathered from underground sources, dating back to 1975.

In December 2009 the initial project was transformed into a live, 24/7 web radio station:
TSoNYC™ The Sound of New York City™ . The station’s programming is based on the history of New York’s clubs like “Paradise Garage” and “The Loft”, with their protagonists Larry Levan and David Mancuso, as well as Detroit and Chicago with “The Warehouse” and “The Gallery”, where Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy spread their style. The TSoNYC sound includes Nu-Disco and Deep House, showcasing DJ contemporaries such as Moodymann, Theo Parrish, LTJ experience, and others who are now contributing to the rediscovery of this immortal music.

The growing interest for this genre of music is being demonstrated as our site last year reached more than 14 thousand visitors, with tremendous audiences tuning not only within the USA and Canada, but also in Germany, Greece, Japan, Russia, France, Poland, England and Italy as well.
