Cover Up The Scars

My friend Peter and I decided to stall on our writing session to go eat great food (another thing songwriters tend to do well), At the Tin Angel.  There was a dapper older man sitting alone.  Bow tie and wine, with a tweed blazer.  The kind with the elbow pads.  I love those.  ;)  We could both tell he was there celebrating something like an anniversary, with an empty setting across from him.  We're hazy dreamers so we decided what he might say to her now that she's gone.  Peter Bradley Adams is lovely person and artist.  To this day, I still play his first record all day, top to bottom, when I'm back in town, driving my car.  (Don't tell him I said so).  Enjoy.

Bonnie Bishop is a hot Texas mama who has written songs for the likes of Bonnie Rait, and a ton of other amazing artists.  This was a country song we did way back, but I still love it.  Enjoy
