With an Instagram account that often serves up porn for hardware nerds, Adam Hodgins is a synthesizer savant with a penchant for outboard and vintage gear. His music as Iron Galaxy reflects his tastes in equipment with his superior production values helping to lend his work an emotive quality that many of his peers struggle to achieve. Debuting on Audio Culture back in 2012, Hodgins has since gone on to drop last year's four tracker 'Things We Lost Along The Way' on James Zabiela's Born Electric imprint. Now, Hodgins returns to Born Electric with his third release, 'Came and Went/No Matter What'. 

Available to stream in full below, 'Came and Went' opens the release after being a fixture as the closing track in Zabiela's set for some months. A slow burner built on a sturdy kick and oceans of rich pads and textures, Hodgins layers on the flourishes gradually and with care - arriving several minutes in with washes of hard earned end of night euphoria. Paired with 'No Matter What', the release is rounded off by a pair of remixes from Serge and Tyrrell of Amsterdam's might Clone.

I am a singer-songwriter from Nagaland, which is a state in Northeast India. I grew up listening to Oasis, Radiohead and Blur. They are still a big part of me, even though i listen to more of Ingrid Michaelson or Regina Spektor these days.  and i feel all of them  influence and inspire me in my songwriting in one form or another. hopefully it doesn't sound like a Frankenstein monster to you :p
