As far as duo's go Ben Lewis & Josh Ludlow are a force to be reckoned with. With their party and label Make A Dance along with its also much beloved subsidiary imprint M.A.D Edits, the two have given a much needed outlet to the scene in London as well as further afield. With their party driven sound meeting ties with deep house as well as disco, italo and more they have proven to both deem a quality selection that can bring any party to its knees. And for the 122nd Phonica mix they do exactly that; a pure scope of energy mixed with quality deep anthems and a hint of acid to top it off. We had a quick chat with Ben and Josh about the mix and what they got going in the works.

Aradea Barandana, widely known as Dea, began his DJ career in high school, spinning records as background music for a breakdance crew. What started as a casual exploration of rhythm soon blossomed into a passion for building community through music. Dea launched his own club night in Jakarta, where his eclectic taste began to take shape.
While studying in London, Dea delved deep into the world of underground and obscure cosmic sounds, honing a style that defies strict categorization. His sets are a rich tapestry of exotic psychedelia, infused with electronic grooves that transcend traditional genre boundaries.
Dea has released numerous records under his own name and as part of projects like Precious Bloom and Zatua. His collaborations span diverse fields, from co-creating a short film soundtrack with DJ Harvey to contributing to albums by A Mountain of One and Ricardo Villalobos. He also made waves with an EP released on Peggy Gou’s Gudu Records.
Looking ahead, Dea is set to release his highly anticipated solo album on Rush Hour Records in summer 2025, a testament to his ever- evolving artistry and deep connection to the global music scene.

Tunnel Signs is the alias of Ash Moses, an Australian-born DJ and producer whose music explores the darker shades of elegant electronics. A lover of both the brooding and the beautiful, Moses crafts tracks that exist between the shadows of reverb-drenched post-punk, hypnotic techno, and cosmic disco. His early releases found a home on labels like IOHYOU!, Clouded Vision and Cut Copy’s Cutters Records.

Moses has continued to evolve his sound with recent releases on Darkroom Dubs, the legendary label founded by Silicone Soul and has teamed up with enfant terrible DJ Reenie for a collaboration on the iconic Motorik label. His music has earned support from influential figures like Skatebard, Paul Woolford, Gerd Janson, James Murphy, Massimiliano Pagliara and even landed as the soundtrack for an international ad campaign for Pandora through his Barney In The Tunnel project with Sydney/Eora hero Barney Kato.

With a knack for balancing disassociated depth and infectious dancefloor energy, Moses's work as Tunnel Signs continues to carve out a unique space in the global electronic scene. Whether crafting late-night jams or sending listeners on a trip through twisted rhythms and wonky reveries, his sound remains ever-evolving and distinct.
