DJ and producer Elado has carved out a unique niche in the electronic scene with his infectious blend of rare global grooves, disco edits, and crate-digging wizardry. A lifelong vinyl obsessive, Elado rose to international acclaim in 2020 with his debut on Razor-N-Tape, catching the attention of selectors like Hunee, Antal, and Gerd Janson.

His sound fuses African rhythms, Middle Eastern melodies, and vintage disco with modern dancefloor energy-equal parts joyful and surprising. Tracks like “Gulab Jamun” and “Big Baba” became cult favorites, blending humor, funk, and irresistible rhythm.

In 2024, he launched Big Baba Records, a platform for his own edits and global disco experiments, and also dropped “Funk Machine” on Barry Can’t Swim’s label, Earth’s Only Paradise, further cementing his reputation for genre-defying dancefloor magic.

With releases on GAMM, Running Back, Toy Tonics, and more, Elado continues to push the boundaries of what a dancefloor can feel like-happy, weird, warm, and wildly fun.

Deliciously melodic house with an old skool progressive tinge in today's premiere from Zurich powerhouse @washerman. I saw powerhouse as he's produced somewhere in the region of 100 releases since 2000 under various guises on Sonar Kollektiv, Quintessentials, Izu, Deep Down Slam, Nite Grooves and fellow Swiss types @drumpoet Community, who release his lovely new EP 'The Awakening' this month. Powered by a plump acid housey analog bassline, its simple synth patterns create a dramatic atmosphere, with little let up in the intensity throughout. Lush.
