Fruits and Culture Vol 1

PHILM was launched in April of 2020 as a depot for unseen film photos of the band Phish shot by fans.  

By 2021, the account had delivered a book and expanded beyond the jam world -  featuring all kinds of music new and old. 

“I needed to get the jam band fans to eat their vegetables. If you like the Disco Biscuits you should know who Can is,” says Brian aka PHILM.  

In the last five years PHILM has released magazines, more books, merch and a newly launched podcast.  

Brian, who also founded the band Ex Cops, continues to also make music with House Band - an all improv group featuring various LA session musicians.
