What is this version???  I've only ever heard Val Bennett's, but this dub is fire.

Club Malanga, my favorite place in Ibiza, asked me to make a playlist/mix full of new music. I took my bottle of hierbas and visualized I was back in Malanga, with fresh records from the past year.

The mix is recorded with the notorious Isonoe mixer! To get that club feeling, I did the mix in one take with some delay, dub siren and no editing. Big thank you to Manu, Enrique, GUTS, Landry & the whole Ibiza team. I hope to play, dance and discover with you again soon. Big Hug & Enjoy!

Ahead of his set at the Havana Cultura : ¡Súbelo, Cuba! Album launch on October 22nd, Jazz FM and @musicamacondo’s Tim Garcia has put together a guest mix for us of some of his favourite Afro/Latin cuts. 

‘With a nod to Cuba and Puerto Rico’s Rumba traditions the mix starts off on the jazzier side of the musical spectrum, spanning rumba, Afro-latin jazz, Afrocuban/Afrobeat fusion, Salsa and then culminating in the electronic side of things with contemporary Cuban musicians and one of my favourite tunes on Yoruba Records’
