There's a small and misty dark room
In the corner of my mind
Sometimes this is where my rationality will hide
From the demons that I’ve always feared to fight

There's a hard and heavy weight
That hovers just above my chest
Sometimes it will clamp its self down tighter than my vest
Whenever darkness puts me to the test

But fear is nothing but a bump in the road
You either let it stop you or you
Plough right through and learn to let it go
Once you face then you’ll wonder why you feared it all along

There's an ever-knowing wise man
Still learning from his books
Sometimes he will raise his eyes, to give a certain look
When he disapproves of certain roads I've took

But mistakes are nothing but a bump in the road

Once you’ve learned from them, you’ll wonder why you made them all along

Cause you can do anything you put your mind to
As long as you believe it then it’s true
And there are no dreams that are impossible to reach
Once you’ve opened up your heart and let them in

There's a little childlike quiver
That’s been hiding in my throat
Sometimes it will ponce just as I'm reaching for that note
That one that I can never seem to hold

But limits are nothing but a bump in the road
You either let them stop you or you
Or you plough right through and learn to let them go
Once you break them down, you’ll wonder why you set them all along

Bump In The Road

A kind of diary.
Telling stories through sound and playing with musical genres.
I produce, play instruments and create paintings and collages for my covers. 
Also working alongside filmmakers and dance companies.

"The Turtle Project" started out as exactly that, a project, a songwriting project that was born from years of being a musician in many bands, doing countless gigs, naturally gathering experience and inspiration until, one day, I stumbled upon the fact that I could actually put those experiences and many others into words. The composing aspect grew from that into what it is today ...

Change no one. Change nothing. React to no one, react to nothing. Do not live in the past and do not, worry about the future. Stay in the eternal now, where all is well. After all you are me and I am you. There's no difference. Do not react to the world. Do not even react to your own body. Do not even react to your own thoughts. Learn to become the witness. Learn to be quiet.
