Après 19 ans à Londres, il est maintenant basé dans le sud de la France au coeur de la forêt des Landes, un décor qui semble influencer ses productions d’une atmosphère aussi organique que mystique. Pour cet EP, il nous offre cinq tracks pensées pour les dancefloors enfumés des clubs et les raves perdues en pleine nature. For more than two decades, Sebastian Russell has been crafting hypnotic and immersive techno, somewhere between light and shadow. After 19 years in London, he is now based in the south of France, in the heart of the Landes forest—a setting that seems to imbue his productions with an atmosphere both organic and mystical. For this EP, he delivers five tracks designed for the smoke-filled dancefloors of clubs and raves lost in the wilderness. K.O.P. 32 closes the release with a "tunnel-like" remix, showcasing his signature touch !

DESCRIPTION

 "I remember making this during some freezing days between Christmas and New Year's. The main groove that started the whole track was initially generated by those little red lights that you normally put on your bike. I placed the lamp in front of a light sensor, which transforms the light into sound pulses. The lamp had a sequence of flashes that the sensor detected and the result was the main beat. I also remember experimenting with various AI tools to generate sound material, which I used as a starting point to modulate it."
