The band called TV FACE are a post-punk/noise-rock band from Lancaster (UK). Expect weird guitar combined with a tight and heavy rhythm section, laced with deranged yet tuneful boy-girl vocals. A classic three-piece, they have been compared to Braniac, McClusky, Minutemen, and Pixies.

The band called TV FACE’s debut album Tide of Men releases in September 2023 on Crackedankles Records, home to Evil Blizzard, Thank, Hot Wax and more. The self-produced album recorded partly in an old church, and partly in a bungalow in rural Lancashire, is mastered by Pete Maher (White Stripes, Pixies). 
Their songs rage at the expectation that we should put a brave face on while we’re being kept out, pushed down and held under; each song a short, sharp clap back to the keep-calm-and-carry-on-gang. Gloriously, riotously, unashamedly angry, with a dash of indignation, and a soupçon of incredulity.

Bio
TV FACE are three socially awkward weirdos from Lancaster - brigit (bass/vocals) and sTeVe (vocals/guitar), and steeny (drums). The trio share a passion for all things odd, dissonant and experimental. Rehearsing in the shadow of Heysham nuclear power station, their songs serve “sonic fury with a satirical edge … blistering, genre-defying … both chaotic and meticulously tight” (HellaFuzz). The themes of each song are visually realised in the band’s artwork and videos, made by Steve, crafting an audiovisual world unique to TV FACE.  

Live, TV FACE are known for their high-intensity performances, “with dynamics I’ve not seen since the likes of Therapy? … in the early nineties” (Louder Than War). They have supported The Undertones, benefits, Warmduscher, Evil Blizzard, Opus Kink, Gans, and more! This August, they will headline the Introducing Stage at the UK’s biggest punk festival - REBELLION. 

The band release their records on Preston’s hothouse of talent - Crackedankles Records alongside fellow weirdos Evil Blizzard, Yaang, Michael, Dead Stilettos, and more. Riding the wave of success of their critically acclaimed 2023 debut album TIDE OF MEN (featured on several album of the week/year lists), the band will release their 2nd LP WOLF RENTS BARK in September 2025. WOLF RENTS BARK was recorded at Whitewood Studios in Liverpool with Rob Whiteley, who has just finished producing the latest BC Camplight album. The album sees the band’s sound coalescing, becoming darker, harder, and more anthemic.
